  1. I should have been clearer when I said Volvo did it better. I was referring to the way that it is integrated into the dash. I don't care for the top of screen extending above the dash. A friend has a Volvo with the tablet screen. I don't think he has ever mentioned any issues with it.
  2. What trim is your edge? Try using a code reader or FORScan to see if they're any frozen DLCs that may show up and are cleared when the vehicle starts up. Something is draining your battery.
  3. Welcome to the forum! Congrats on your new ride!
  4. Point your browser in this direction.... http://www.2gfusions.net/showthread.php?tid=3881
  5. While I understand the desire to delete a post, a lot of forums will not allow you to do so. My go to alternative is to simply go back and edit the post. Some forums will allow you to use ..... Others I just enter something to the effect of I wish I could delete this post, but I can't so you're stuck reading this now... HTH
  6. Before you look into automotive lighting specialist, I'd strongly suggest you reach out to one of our resident programers. @jmr061 or Dan at https://www.sync3programming.com Your issues may very well be resolved with FORSCan.
  7. I did the full SYNC3 upgrade in my lady's 2013 SEL when it started dying on her. Ironically enough she missed the recall on having the APIM replaced but always remembered to tell me that it is causing her grief after the fact..... Install takes about 20-30 minutes. Doesn't require anything special in terms of tools. Either way you go, you might want to invest in a trim removal kit which should run you around $10-$20. I purchased all of my SYNC3 kits from @TXFRDOwner.
  8. Hey there welceom to the forum. Sorry to hear about your issues. My first thought is that the APIM is on its way out. You have a couple of choices: Replace the APIM or upgrade to SYNC3 Which would require you to replace the APIM, touch screen, USB hub, GPS antenna and something else I may be forgetting. The difference between MFT2 (the version you have) and SYNC3 are night and day. With SYNC3 you can use Android Auto or Apple Carplay.
  9. I can not begin to emphasize to you that you can not use LMS to tune your vehicle. They "should" only tune your vehicle if its on their dyno, none of their off the shelf tunes are compatible with your new turbos. You should buy the HPTuners MPVI2. With HPTuners you are not limited to one tuner. BCB, ZFG, Unleashed etc can use the HPTuner interface. Unleashed and ZFG will give you the quickest turn around time once you submit your stock tune. Once they have your stock tune they will provide you with an introductory tune that will compensate for your new turbos flow rate. After a few logs and back and forth correspondence you will be dialed in.
  10. Not sure what the exact issue but I can definitely tell you that it is not normal. Depending on your level of handyness you may be able to replace the bulbs. But I can tell you without a doubt that you can swap the entire IPC out in 20-30 minutes.
  11. No issues of note. Go forth and enjoy the goodness of SYNC 3.4.
  12. A bad APIM will do everything that your APIM is doing on its way out. There was a recall for it at some point. I personally haven't purchased my SYNC3 conversions from salvage yards. I'm sure the parts would not be that hard to find. All of the SYNC3 conversions that, I have done I purchased from @TXFRDOwner Drop him a line. He will sort you out!
  13. Unfortunately it is your APIM. Swapping it out is relatively easy. I would look into doing a SYNC3 conversion.
  14. You can downgrade to SYNC 3.3 if you like.
  15. Unfortunately the 2015+ models will not recline all the way back or fold forward all the way.
  16. Omar is referring to the cluster that was originally installed pre swap. That has been in use since 2011. The only thing that is different about the cluster for the ST is the addition of a boost gauge. Imagine having multiple edges of various years etc and looking at the same cluster since 2011. To the best of my knowledge the MKX cluster that we are both using debuted in the 2015 MY with the refresh.
  17. If you're looking for one and done then LMS is the way to go. If you might find yourself going down the eternal rabbit hole of modding then I would suggest you look into ZFG, Unleashed or BCB. You will have to make some runs and take some logs and go back and forth, etc but this way you will get a tune that is tailored to your ride as opposed to a off the shelf tune.
  18. We recently had a very illuminating discussion on wider tires and benefit on dry and detriment in snow and on ice. I decided to link you directly to the thread in its entirety than rather one particular post over the other because I think the entire thread is beneficial. Different schools of thought and facts vs opinions etc. Enjoy
  19. Ok so its not just me. In my previous edge I knew I could set the IOLM intervals. I wonder what bean counter said they can save xxx amount of dollars by removing that feature in the 15+ edges.
  20. Congrats and welcome to the forum. Unfortunately the ventilated seats are hit or miss. Other times they leave a lot to be desired....namely your satisfaction. If you're still within the 3year 36k warranty take it to your dealer. Maybe they can shed some light on the situation. There is a TSB on it. Some users reported success, others not so much. tsb15-0154.pdf If you are DIYer you can order the repair kit from this site and follow the directions. AMore thana few suers on the F150 forum have reported success utlizing this repair. Seat Guru
