  1. I can turn off the extra wipe on my 2015 Edge Sport
  2. You can swap any engine that will fit, it is just dependent on how much custom fabrication work you are willing to do. I have seen everything to a 350SBC in an Mini(the old school one), I did a 3.8L SC(GTP engine) into a Cavalier Z24 with some friends, and everything in the world needs an LS in it.
  3. First time I got to use my 15 ones was last week and they work great. I have a 15 Sport
  4. This will be something i will have to get used to, with spirited driving in my Cobalt I got close to 50k out of my P-Zero Rosso's.
  5. Blizzaks are great except they have terrible wear, Nokians are by far the best but you pay for it, I went with X-Ice and love them.
  6. I am 6'5" and have a 6'10" wingspan, nope no issues washing then using squeegee on roof after for me.
  7. AWD only fixes issue with acceleration and a bit of control but the biggest factors in winter driving are steering and more importantly breaking and the only way to improve those are a good set of winter tires. I have a 2015 Edge Sport and live in the Canadian Prairies and have driven here for almost 20 years. Is the AWD noticeable while accelerating, definitely but until I put some X-ice winter tires on, stopping was not the easiest. Stopping in my Cobalt was easier but that is because it is 1200 pounds less weight with 4 wheel brembo disk brakes.
  8. Only if they can repair their image issues and the electrical issues.
  9. Go figure I thought the suspension was a bit on the soft side still on the sport and wanted to tighten it up.
  10. Not sure about the Titanium but my 15 Edge Sport has a spare tire(not sure if that is a Canadian thing though because I have seen reports of the goop), Camera button is above the cd slot on the '15 but not sure if any changes happen with Sync 3 install.
  11. IF you are conscious of it you can use the paddles to force it to 6th but it will not shit there on its own.
  12. IF you will be holding speed for a long period of time(highway) you will hurt your gas mileage as it will not shift to 6th in sport unless you use the paddles to do so.
  13. I am 6'5" and 290lbs and the only complaint I have about the 15 sport seats is the short seat cushion but that works as a compromise as my 5'5" 130lbs spouse loves it.
  14. The filter will not change much as it is still the same piping it is pulling air through and that would be the limiting factor and a CAI is not needed unless you are planning to swap turbos and crank the boost up but then you will need more than a of the shelf tune.
  15. As with any performance gains are only seen by the ability to add more fuel and air to the system while keeping the mixture at the correct level. So a CAI may remove restrictions in a poorly designed system(examples are a lot of the early 90's vehicles that sucked air through a 2 inch by 1/2 inch snorkel hole) and then allow for more air and therefore more fuel to be added but in newer vehicles they are usually designed with efficiency in mind which means a clean air track is best with only a silencer to keep it quieter. So when adding a CAI it is more the sound that makes it feel faster as you are getting the nice sound. Prime example is the vehicle i was comparison shopping against the edge, the GLA 45 AMG. I test drove 2 of them one with the performance exhaust(a 500 dollar addon that literally just removed one of the 2 silencers in the exhaust track) and one without. When tested at the track they run 0-60 and 1/4 within points of second of each other but seat of the pants the performance exhaust felt faster because the growly, popping exhaust note that was intoxicating.
  16. And gas does not go in the spark plug?. It is a break down of an 7-10 year old vehicle that is outside factory warranty, its the same as a fuel pump failure, ECM frying, ect. It sucks that it happens but it is not causing fires, exploding tires, cruise control or the GM electric steering failure on the Cobalts all which caused serious or life threatening accidents. Yes a vehicle dying on the freeway is dangerous but it does not come to a crashing stop, you lose power and drift to a stop. It is not a Recall reason, suck up it up and pay for your repair, it is part of older vehicle ownership.
  17. I know in my previous car, Cobalt SS SC, when I used regular it felt significantly slower and I lost about 15-20% mileage over using premium. And the car drove like crap for the next tank of premium as well. I actually had to do a ECM clear and have it relearn before I got all of the performance and mileage back. I have only run Premium in the new Sport 2.7EB we bought and mileage has been increasing every fill.
  18. It is tough since a very small market share uses apple that it is frequently not worth the money, the other option over buying a laptop is look at running Windows in a Virtual Machine on the Mac. I know that is how we end up doing it at my work for the handful of crapbooks we have.
  19. Or go to tirerack.com and use the wheel selector and you can get a general idea of what they look like.
  20. Glovebox - owners manual Dash bin - small scrapper drivers side bin - change and insurance Console - USB chargers and backup battery Center console, nothing
  21. I currently have the Aluminum wheels off of a Edge SE 18" size on my 2015 Edge Sport for winter tires. They fit perfectly and the rider does become a bit softer with more sidewall. Looking forward to summer when I can get the 21"s on .
  22. My cobalt SS/SC(engine code LSJ) was the worst oil change I have ever done, the filter was a cartridge under the supercharger and you needed a long extension to get to it and if the engine was warm it was even harder to reach. After doing that a few times this seems like childs play.
