  1. We must all be on the elderly side of the scale to remember these excellent machines. My friend had a '72 GT 750, I had a '72 CB 500. We eluded the local constabulary on a few occasions that summer for reason I won't elaborate on.
  2. Insist that the repair shop have a qualified technician take over and make sure they are accredited. The person that was working on your car should be in a different line of work.
  3. Same here and it's been 4 years for me.
  4. Yikes! These PTU's have way too small of an oil capacity.
  5. The rear door location relative to the wheel well opening results in insufficient room within the door for the glass to lower all the way down.
  6. Turns Out High-Performance Air Filters Actually Do Give You More Power The gains are there but a pretty small increment that you won't notice. More than likely at the expense of reduced filtration.
  7. Hello and welcome from Manitoba.
  8. Check your owner's manual. The default is "Auto" in remote start settings. Try turning that off and see what happens.
  9. This is what I did to prevent the rust: https://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/13407-what-have-you-done-towith-your-edgemkx-today/?do=findComment&comment=222524
  10. The contents of his catch can is normal for this time of year. In colder weather water vapor mixes with oil vapor creating the emulsion you see in the picture. The colder it gets the nastier it looks.
  11. I updated my password after reading the first post. I also use Bitwarden password manager. I generate crazy complex passwords with it. Thanks for keeping this thread updated. Bitwarden
  12. Not sure which Chemical Guys product you're using but this one works great for me. InnerClean Leaves a dry no shine finish.
  13. Well it could be a number of things ranging from: Ignition switch, neutral safety switch, starter or a poor connection to any of the aforementioned. Just for kicks try wiggling the shifter while turning the key and see what happens.
  14. Agree with all of above. I currently own 3 vehicles with Halogen, LED and HID. The Mustang has factory HID projector lights and they outperform the other 2 by a wide margin. I absolutely detest the new LED headlight systems. The glare they produce is a safety hazard.
  15. I hate trucks with nice white lights that blind me when I'm driving my sedan at night. That also goes for most newer vehicles that have LED headlights including my Nautilus.
  16. Yes that is correct. I should have included that the vehicle never sees snow. My point is that the P Zeros were poor performers in general. Standard equipment with the 55D package.
  17. They were OEM on my Mustang and absolutely dangerous below 10 Celsius (50 F). An all around mediocre tire IMHO.
  18. -23 Celsius at the moment. I don't complain about the seats getting too warm.
  19. Excellent! Now to update that sig image to show the K bike
  20. From their website: "Today, we ship thousands of parts, from hundreds of manufacturers, to millions of customers all over the world" I know they ship to Canada as I order from them all the time.
  21. Could be water building up in the exhaust from short trips. That should burn off after the engine gets up to temperature. Where I live it gets cold enough that cars constantly produce water vapor/steam clouds. My guess is you have water building up in your exhaust which becomes a vapor when it meets the hot exhaust gases.
  22. Breaker-bar to loosen, torque wrench to tighten and impact wrench to spin the lug nuts on and off. Going on 12 years now and the lug nuts on my Mustang are still looking good.
  23. In my experience with differentials, transmissions, transfer cases et cetera; quite often overfilling results in the excess amount exiting the unit via the breather. I follow the factory fill procedure and save myself unnecessary headaches.
