  1. In my experience with differentials, transmissions, transfer cases et cetera; quite often overfilling results in the excess amount exiting the unit via the breather. I follow the factory fill procedure and save myself unnecessary headaches.
  2. Welcome to the forum. Auto stop/start defaults to on when you start the car. Autostop makes a module that defeats this. Easy Entry and Exit can be disabled in settings - vehicle options.
  3. From one old guy to another: Welcome to the forum!
  4. Hopefully all goes well for you with the replacement process and it's clear sailing after that.
  5. Yes I'm aware of that. The trapezoidal openings in the rear lower facia are meant to give the appearance of exhaust tips. I have no idea why Ford didn't make the design exhaust tip installer friendly. My best guess would be to eliminate the need to constantly clean the soot build up that GDI motors produce in abundance.
  6. Maybe it has to do with the fact that your looking for unobtanium. 2 5/8" is an odd ball size.
  7. Painting the rear wheel hubs to get rid of the rust would be a low cost high reward mod.
  8. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Glad it wasn't worse. Evidently "Built Ford Tough" applies to the Edge as well.
  9. Well that's a downer. Why not use EMT instead. Everyone here knows your reputation is beyond reproach. I sell audio gear on Canuck Audio Mart from time to time. 90% of buyers are okay with EMT. The other 10% are SOL. I absolutely detest paypal.
  10. I would upgrade the coolant to the latest specification and continue to drive it without worrying about it.
  11. Welcome to the forum. I started to read this but couldn't finish due to eye strain. Paragraph format would have been nice.
  12. FWIW I briefly owned a 2012 Focus with the 10 speaker Sony audio system. Through experimentation I ended up disconnecting the center dash speaker. That made a noticeable improvement. This was by far the worst sounding premium audio system I have experienced in a vehicle.
  13. Did it make the noise before the struts were replaced? Were the upper strut mount bearing plates replaced? If not that could be the source of the creaking noise.
  14. You might also want to consider performing a parasitic draw test to make sure it's not the battery that's causing your grief.
  15. I had to look at that on my larger monitor. It looks like Chinese script to me.
  16. It would need to tick all the right boxes boxes to entice me away from my Nautilus. 2 row seating, roomy, possibly electric and built in Oakville would be a good start.
  17. No but a former ST owner installed the above. Thought it was pretty good. I just use sport mode when I want quicker throttle response.
  18. Was hoping this thread had run it's course.
  19. Or just check it with a gauge twice a year.
  20. Hey Welcome to the forum. I'm in Canada but spent a year down there near Wausau setting up a window factory. I had a great time there!
  21. Android Auto with Google maps. Always up to date, always gets me to where I need to go.
  22. If your not in a rush you can get them from AliExpress for 1/3 the cost. USB 4 Magnet Adapter That's where I purchased mine. Delivery takes about 3 weeks.
  23. As much as I enjoyed the convenience of the AA wireless module, I stopped using it a while back. Using the module in conjunction with wireless charging put too much stress (heat) on the phones battery for my liking. Battery temperatures came down to low 30's from mid 40's (C) using a wired connection. My compromise solution was to fit my devices with magnetic USB quick connectors. USB C Magnetic Adapters Some things to consider if battery longevity is a concern.
  24. Damn! Another reading comprehension failure. Thanks for pointing that out.
