  1. Welcome to the forums. The photo with the top of the taillights in body color looks best, in my opinion. But, the more interesting bits, where did you get the model from? Also, please do update once you get the Euro spec headlights. How much did they end up costing?
  2. This image is for a 2020 Explorer ST with the standard 8" center display. You can find the exact photo on this site. photo 49/60 in the gallery.
  3. There is TSB 18-2339 that specifies revised bottom & back rear door weatherstripping in addition to installing mini mud flaps behind the front tires to reduce it. @WWWPerfA_ZN0W posted the TSB in this post.
  4. Maybe there is some sludge formed and it is too thick to drain out? Maybe another drain & fill will help after a few hundred miles to get them out? Just a thought.
  5. A tech at a dealership might have the capabilities to do it, but it is highly unlikely that you'll find one who would because it is not a standard procedure.
  6. I also misunderstood. By the way, the MKX Style cluster first appeared in the 2013 MKZ. The MKX got it in 2016. The 2019 Nautilus (renamed MKX) got the full LCD cluster in 2019. A member here tried installing one in his Edge, but it did not work fully (link to the post).
  7. Congrats on the new cluster, the Edge's cluster has been in use since 2011! So it is actually older than that. Ford knew this and has offered the Edge in Europe with the MKX cluster in upper trims. What is even more surprising, that the supposedly new for 2019 Ford Ranger also has this same cluster in upper trims!
  8. How is the ride in general & over bumps? Also, do you notice vibrations in the morning from temporary flat spots?
  9. Thanks for the right up. How is the ride with the B6 shock? Changed on the rears?
  10. I think it is called an Underbody Air Deflectors or Gravel Deflector. See this. Check your model year & side.
  11. I have had bad experience with Ford's IOLM. On the 2011 MKX, even though it was supposed to be an intelligent monitor, it was simply a miles counter. 100% would trigger at exactly 16k km regardless of driving conditions. Thankfully, that year it had the option to set a lower percentage so I used to set it to 40 or 50% and hence it will warn me at ~6000 to 8000 km. On my current 2016 Edge Sport, the IOLM is totally broken. When changing oil at 8000 km, the IOLM would be reading 97% oil life balance! The dealer tried to fix it by replacing the PCM, which did fix it temporarily, but after a reset it went broke again. Following up with my dealer seems to be a dead end, unfortunately, he is the only dealer in this country!
  12. Welcome to the forum. Quite an introductory post. I would usually like to the opposite! On my pervious vehicle, I installed a switch to be able to prevent the front dome/map light from turning on with doors open when needed. Sometimes I'd want to exit the vehicle without showing everything inside! Thankfully newer Fords have a switch for it.
  13. I actually installed them from my friend's 2013 Explorer Limited. Just turning them by hand revealed the rubbing, so removed them. I had 18" wheels on the MKX and we wanted to try and feels the differences in ride and handling switching wheels (he tries my 18" & I'd try his 20"). But didn't work out.
  14. Can't answer the first part. But for ambient lighting default color, it is not a user changeable color, but it can be changed using ForScan.
  15. I thought the Lincoln MKS only got the Ti-VCT in the 2013 refresh.
  16. Just had a thought about this, Ford usually states that using a dissimilar size spare for a long period could cause damage to the AWD system. Also, when using the mini spare that the AWD will switch off to protect driveline components. So what if using a tire that is smaller than regular, but still larger than the mini will put the AWD system in a bit good situation, AWD does not disconnect, but still compromises the system? From the manual: What I mean to say, is that as long as you still don't get a fully matching spare whee/tire size match, you are still restricted to the same shortcomings of the mini spare. So just keep the mini, save space & make its installation a bit easier being much lighter.
  17. If I remember correctly, it was a slight rub, but it was concerning. Wouldn't try to drive with it. Buy it was small enough that I think the smallest spacers could fix. By the way, I tried Limited wheels, the aluminum polished ones, not Sport wheels. So they might be different.
  18. Valve stem removal is NOT necessary. As @1004ron stated above, and I had tires replaced on my previous 2011 MKX & current 2016 Edge, the valve stems were not removed. But, the official statement is to replace the valve stems when installing new tires.
  19. If you're suspecting relays, it won't be closed all the time as the issue is intermittent. You could try to swap the relay with another one of the same rating and see if the issue changes.
  20. No. TPMS valves/stems don't need to be removed to remove/mount tires. I had my tires replaced without removing the stems, although the owners manual states to change the stems when installing new tires. Our local tire shops are not really well educated!!
  21. Though I am not in the US, for my earlier 2011 MKX I had with 1 key initially, I bought a used key/Fob from eBay and got a locksmith to cut it & program it. The locksmith has to have the proper equipment for programming the key. If you already have 2 keys, then programming can be easily done without any special equipment.
  22. I once tried a 2013 Explorer Limited 20" on my previous 2011 MKX (similar to the Edge) and the wheels rubbed the front brake calipers.
  23. Just to visualize the difference in size between the spare & regular wheel/tire:
