You need to also remove the top steering column cover to expose the other torx screw. See the attache procedures. You don't need to remove the Airbag. For information, the 2016-2018 Edge Sport has an adaptive steering, so removing the Airbag is slightly different. The holes for removing the Airbag (same location) are covered. You would need to make slits to the steering wheel trim at the same location where they would be. You would know if it was removed or not earlier. I know this because my 2016 Sport first had the driver Airbag recall (replacement), so the dealer had to make the slits. Then I had the Adaptive Steering wheel recall (also replaced). So now the slits are gone. Good as new. You have a 2013, the MKX speedo upgrade refereed to in @TXFRDOwner & @onyxbfly posts wouldn't work (changing the Edge's speedo to the newer Lincoln style). I think there is a misunderstanding here. I believe your question is whether the right screen on your stock speedometer will still work after upgrading to Sync 3. In this case, yes, the screen will work with Sync 3.

Without the factory tow package, the 3.5 Edge is rated to 2000 lbs. The rating will not change even if you put a class II hitch. Sway control is one part, but the tow package usually also has additional cooling capacity like an engine oil cooler.

As stated above, two other ways to know, if it is equipped with rain sensing wipers the wiper stalk will have "Auto" written on it and there will be this plastic cover behind/above the interior rear view mirror.

I had earlier went through As Built Data for a 2019 MKX and a 2018 F-150, both with ventilated seats, and the ABD blocks structure look similar to the 2019 Edge I poster earlier (with the additional blocks), so I was thinking it might be ventilated only after all, until your post proving they are still cooled. Can anyone who upgraded from a 2016-2018 Edge with cooled seats to a 2019-2020 Edge with cooled seats confirm their experience?

Looks sharp. Do you have the factory front camera? If so, how did you keep it with the Honey comb grille? when looking for the grille there doesn't seem to be an offering with the camera hole for it.

On the F-150 they changed the design starting with the 2018 model. F-150Forum has a thread on the cooled seat fix issue & the new mechanism is pictured in this post. The 2019 Nautilus Parts listing does show the new blowers. So maybe they only changed them on the Nautilus and not on the 2019 Edge, related to the new for 2019 availability of 22 way adjustable seats and hence the redesign of the seats and new blowers, while the Edge still kept the same seats (minor cover changes).

This post includes a how to for doing the opposite. It might give you some idea how to do what you need.

I had the same idea on my previous 2011 MKX. Had a topic about it here with some wiring diagrams & component locations with help from members. Short answer, I did not do it. There is a wiring difference and you'll need to route the wires for it to work.

@tmarsh Any update on the cooled seats? I have done some research and found that even though the 2019/2020 Edge use the same TEDs (link to bottom & back parts) and same SCME (link to part), the 2019/2020 have extra blocks in the ABD. So there seems to be a software/firmware update for the SCME, I have an old ForScan 2.4.0 version (Jan build) but there is no firmware flash option for the SCME. Maybe someone with a 2019/2020 Edge with cooled seats can get temperature readings for the TEDs and see if they are better. Note: The yellow boxes and red text are to highlight the 2018 changes compared to mine.

I can't really give an answer. From my readings, there is no clear proof that a catch can will prevent it, nor that without it you'd actually get carbon buildup on EcoBoost engines. But regular maintenance and using good oils will definitely help, especially considering that new oils are getting better to tackle the issue. As @onyxbfly stated above, the Edge still uses Direct Injection only. The F-150 got dual injection in 2017 for the 3.5 EcoBoost only, then in 2018 the rest also got it. But all other EcoBoost Engines (AFAIK, and as per Ford's website as of today 07/07/2020) are still Direct Injection only, even the new Explorer, which was a clean new 2020 model & the first application of the 3.0 EcoBoost in longitudinal form. Edit: The 2018+ Expedition is also PFI+DI like the F-150, although Ford's website states its only DI. So there goes relying on Ford as a credible source ?.

I have 2 sounds from the sunroof. 1 is from the friction between the rear part of the movable glass and the seal. Cleaning the seal & glass surface where they meet. Some light grease also helps. 2 is from the rubber surround under the glass, this rubber doesn't seem to have a function as it doesn't seal anything, probably for sound purposes. This rattles a bit.

I expect it would. I don't have any experience with it, but it does have several holes so it can give different clearances. Maybe there are other models that have a mechanism to sway away when opening the liftgate.

Checked today in the morning before starting the Edge, both seat bottom & seat backs were at the same ambient temperature (33C). So yesterday's discrepancy was due to the few minutes of remote starting it.

I got a screenshot today on the way back from work. This was after about a 20 minute drive. The passenger seat was off, but was initially turned on for a few minutes when I remote started the engine. The temperatures are in Celsius. Converted to Fahrenheit: Driver: Cushion: 59 Back: 70 Passenger (was off): Cushion: 91 Back: 100 I am especially surprised of the passenger seat difference while it was off!! And yes, the ambient temperature was about 105-110 F.
