Low Oil Pressure warning keeps coming on!!!
omar302 replied to vtchopperdude's topic in EcoBoost Mod & Tech
Just in case you didn't already do it, but did you try to clear the code and see if it then comes back? Might just be a stored code from before. -

I wasn't aware that there is a safety switch connected to the oil pressure switch. Is that confirmed to be correct on the Edge? It would be really good to have the piece of mind that it is there. This is what is stated in the 2016 Owners Manual: -

As far as i know, no. This can only be done on newer models (2015+). -
Ever remove the rear seat bottoms on the 2nd gen Edge?
omar302 replied to Chipster's topic in 2015+ Edge & MKX Generation II
You push back then up at the rear end of the (under the backrest) in order to clear the rear hooks. See the attachment for better understanding. Rear Seat Cushion.pdf -
There is no cooling or heating for the cup holders.

Not possible. As you have stated, the temperature gauge is only displayed with the round engine RPM gauge.

If I am reading this correctly, the oil pressure light is coming while the engine is shutting down and the engine shutdown happens at slow engine speeds. I feel that the engine oil light is coming because the engine was shutting. In other words, it's the opposite of what you think. You need to find out why the engine is shutting down. Check for codes stored in through the OBD port. If no codes are present, try cleaning the throttle body and the mass air flow sensor. -
2013 Edge Limited 3.5L AWD Fuse Box Questions
omar302 replied to J. F. Cunningham, Jr.'s topic in Accessories & Modifications
Yes. But not all features would work by just enabling them. For example, to have one touch non-driver auto window will need different window motors and switches (in addition to the wiring, also door modules depending on years, not sure). Same goes for Power Folding mirrors which also would require completely different mirror housings (I don't think any even exist for pre-2015 years). -

Headlights replacement. LED Chinese version
omar302 replied to Fegnattack's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Ok. Now it is clear. See this from the 2GFusion ForScan sheet: 726-45-01 (2014+ MY) xxxx XXxx xxxx Note: This setting enables all choices in the list for DRL options (BdyCM) Set value at XX to 7F 726-50-01 (2014+ MY) xXxx (BdyCM) 01 (Disabled - Default (USA) / No DRL) 02 (Enabled - DRL Low Beams) 04 (Enabled - DRL Front Fog Lamps) 08 (Enabled - DRL Front Turn Lamps) 10 (Enabled - DRL Dedicated) - Enables BCM DRL Outputs - C2280C Pins 36 (Right) and 40 (Left) 20 (Enabled - DRL High Beams) 40 (Enabled - DRL Low Beams and Dedicated) So my suggestion is to first try (726-50-01 XXxx, change the "XX" to "08"). If it doesn't work, then you might need the other one (726-45-01 xxxx XXxx xxxx change the "XX" to "7F") -

I did not understand, can you explain exactly what do you mean you want to set switchbacks as turn? -

How are the DRL in the daytime? Are they brighter than at night? Also how is the illumination of the low & high beams? Where did you buy them from? -
I just checked mine, the rear ducts' temperature follows the front passenger side when it is in dual mode.

What other issues were reported with this mod? Don't remember reading about them. Also, with the 3rd memory button way, wouldn't you have to shift to Park or Neutral to activate, so it actually has an extra step compared to the ForScan mod.

Search YouTube for a video by MacT for removal of the old skins. It is not a really simple thing to do. Also, the cover for 20" Edge wheels is for $149, each!. I wouldn't call that a good price, in my opinion. You'd probably find a used wheel in good shape for not much higher than that.

Just to confirm, this works on the Edge, I have had it enabled for more than a year. Only to get the mirror to dip while in reverse, you have to select the mirror side using the mirror adjust controls (you can select it even while already in reverse), then that side would dip Press the other side and then it would dip and the other reverts to normal. Also, on my Edge, the Instrument cluster does not show the option for the mirror dip setting (enable/disable).

The signal relay is integral to the Body Control Module (BCM) and cannot be changed. You can use ForScan to disable the Hyperflash when using LED bulbs.

Did this start to happen only recently? I don't recall reading of a similar issue, but some long cranking times and smell of fuel are usually signs of a bad EVAP purge valve, this would happen after refueling, it might be it.
-
I don't think it is present in the Engine compartment. As per the US Owner's Manual it is only available under the windshield. But, on my Edge it is also present inside under the front passenger (right) seat. This is the UK Owner's Manual.

When I got Livernoise Tuner I also had some connectivity issues, turned out to be the date setting on my PC! I usually have it in dd-MMM-yyyy (24-Jan-2020). Changed it to dd/mm/yy and it connected.

Try to use ForScan to make your DRL lights use the front turn signals. I think this would then send full power to them all the time. -
