  1. For the seats & defrost, if you remote start the vehicle then take over, the seats & defrost will be at the setting dictated by the remote start conditions.
  2. A person with a 2020 Explorer ST got mismatched side view mirrors! Different factory, but seems Ford has assembly QA/QA issues.
  3. This is the post from the F150 forums I read a while ago about the extra required sensor.
  4. I would be very interested for this, but I remember reading a reply from Dan on the Fusion or F150 forums where he stated something that there is an additional sensor on the windshield required, hence it is not an easy upgrade.
  5. Try to to redownload the file and redo it. Also, what app did you use to unzip it? Try another app, just to be sure it is not a file issue.
  6. @TomCinMI Good info. Looking at the replacement parts (#1 here), they are used for all 2015+ models including the 2019. Also it seems the a available part numbers now are superceding older numbers, so there has been revisions to them, meaning they are probably fixing issues.
  7. First, since the update process did start, then your MFT was on an older version. Second, did you try to recopy the update file to the USB drive? My guess is that one of the files is either missing or corrupt. Try that, and if it doesn't work try another USB drive.
  8. To have the DRL turn on, the headlight switch (dial) should be on auto, the transmission lever should not be in P, and it should be daylight. Otherwise the DRL will be off.
  9. What do you mean by you can set them...? If you mean using the instrument cluster DRL setting, then it seems the DRLs for your Edge are set like that. Maybe a previous owner changed them using ForScan or through a dealer.
  10. I think in case there is binding in the flap then the case itself would require replacement, though I don't remember anyone bringing this issue up here. All the cases brought up here are for the actuator as what akirby stated above.
  11. Are you sure the door lock was never changed before? Try spraying some WD40 inside the key hole and try again.
  12. Since @BeDevil79 is talking about a UK spec vehicle, it is important to remember that the imperial (UK) gallons are not the same as US gallons – a UK gallon equals 4.55 litres while a US gallon equals 3.785 litres. So MPG numbers will be higher than in the US (~20% higher).
  13. Sorry for getting off topic, but once you install the 20" wheels, could you comment on the difference compared to the 21"s? I am considering downsizing for the same reasons once the current tires need replacing.
  14. European cars in general have a feature that the 4-way flashers turn on (or brake lights flash) under heavy or sudden braking. That would be very nice if it could be added or enabled in our cars.
  15. The ANC is done by the DACMC that is contained within the ANC. The ANC is the CD unit of the infotainment system in the dash. DACMC 2.7L Only The DACMC ANC function only operates while the engine is running, and the luggage compartment lid and all doors are closed. The DACMC is a digital signal processor that consists of an internal analog/digital converter and tone generator. For ANC, the DACMC uses engine rotation speed data, engine torque data, accelerator pedal position data, and ANC microphone input signals to calculate the targeted frequency needed to cancel engine noise within the passenger compartment. The DACMC ANC frequency signals are output by the ACM to the audio DSP module as fluctuating AC voltage. The audio DSP module sends the signal to the LHF door speaker, RHF door speaker, and subwoofer speaker as fluctuating AC voltage. The DACMC is contained within the ACM. The DACMC and ACM require separate PMI procedures when the ACM is replaced.
  16. I had 3M Crystalline installed and it was manually cut. They had the big rolls that are bigger than the glass and so it covers it completely.
  17. The MKX/Nautilus does not have power up rear seat backs. It has the same mechanism as in the Edge. It is actually quite rare to have the 2nd row (middle row in case of a 3 row SUV) that has power up seat backs.
  18. @Markham12 He has AWD - All Wheel Drive.
  19. You need to use a puller like this: https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-54150-Battery-Terminal-Puller/dp/B000I14RY6
  20. Thanks @WWWPerfA_ZN0W for the reply. For the OP, this is the link for the post about the TSB.
  21. I am aware of the TSB for 2015 and early built 2016 models for the same issue that involved replacing the Brake Booster, but don't remember the ABS module reprogramming, do you have more details?
