  1. "2FAST4U" would be cool ?
  2. You can use Siri directly by pressing & holding the voice command button. https://owner.ford.com/support/how-tos/sync/sync-with-myford-touch/phone/how-to-use-siri-on-my-iphone.html As for the A/V Jacks, your assumptions are correct. Both of them.
  3. These are the H15 bulbs I got. Since we are talking about LEDs, these are the best I've tried for the rear license plate lights. They had the most uniform illumination. Other bulbs I tried always had more light to the right side due to how the bulb would through the light pattern. As for the video posted, the problem with this comparo is that he is only measuring the highest point of the beam, which doesn't necessarily mean brighter vision for the driver. I know on my Edge, the Philips White Vision Gen2 are brighter than the stock Osram HBI even on the low beams.
  4. Welcome to the forums. I have been using the D3S PHILIPS WHITE VISION 5000K for approximately a year now. They are brighter than stock and whiter, very close to the signature LEDs in the bumper. For DRL, I purchased a set of 50W H15 bulbs from AliExpress, they were too bright for me, I kept feeling that people would think I have the high beams on. Then replaced them with 30W version and I blocked off the lights firing straight out. Under the lens portion of the bulb, the lens screws off and put an aluminum foil under it. Now they are more "Factory" like for DRL lights.
  5. Since these were taken from the F-150, I guessed that TGI is for the current gear indicator and GRD is for displaying the current range of allowed gears. The 2nd one is a feature on the F-150 that allows the driver to pick out higher gears that are locked out, hence the the display of allowed range of gears.
  6. I just tried. It doesn't work on my 2016 Sport. My default value is "0", changing to 8 or 9 gives an error for incompatible configuration.
  7. A dealer would be able to get it for using their equipment. Similar to when you lose a key.
  8. Or anyone from the dealership. Or previous owner(s). Or anyone who had access to both keys (recent models). Or who peaked under the dash (older models). They should really allow it to be changed.
  9. Ford's Keypad is very useful as stated above, the only drawback is that the factory code cannot be changed which is a serious risk in my opinion.
  10. I know there is a ForScan edit that can enable Fuel Prime with door ajar, so maybe not all Fords are set up to prime with the door. I remember my old MKX's Fuel Pump primed with the brake. Don't really remember with my 2016 Edge. I'll try to remember to check next time.
  11. I'd say it is most probably the fuel pump prime sound. In other words, the fuel pump is starting and pressurising fuel to get ready for the engine to start.
  12. I had my 2011 MKX for ~ 6 years & ~ 70K miles. Original Tire set and one replacement set and did not have any issues with the TPMS. The manual does state that the valve stems should be replaced when installing new tires. But my tire shop did not change them. (link to Tasca Parts -315 MHz stems, for sensors with 433MHz have a different part number) Wheel and Tire assem.pdf
  13. This video includes the cupholders panel removal.
  14. Never saw such a mod. Don't think it exists. Are you referring to the mpg that is shown when you are in the Fuel Economy screen with the instant fuel economy? If so, just press and hold the left "OK" button. just like how you would reset Trips 1 & 2.
  15. Congrats. Welcome to the forums and enjoy your new ride.
  16. As stated above, there is no way to change to a smaller fob. As your Edge's year is not mentioned, which Fob do you have? I think they switched to the new style end of 2017. Maybe you'd prefer the other style, but both are similarly sized. The fob sizes are similar, just the number of buttons change.
  17. It is supposed to give access to the fuse panel, but like the 2015+ models, fuse access from there is very limited. I also remember reading a member here who got a drawer from a previous model and installed instead of this cover. Just couldn't find that post. I think it was 2018 when they replaced the drawer with the cover.
  18. In the 2019 Edge Owners Manual, it states you can can disable manual control by pressing holding the upshift (+) paddle. This seems to be something new as it wasn't mentioned in previous models and doesn't work on my 2016.
  19. Welcome to the forums. Congratulations.
  20. I personally immediately disabled it, no thinking about it. But with @akirby suggestion, you close the door to first click, it won't double honk and door could be locked.
  21. The Edge doesn't have rear climate control, the rear vents opening is connected by a duct coming from the front. So no separate control is possible.
  22. I assume you have Sync 3. Use the screen to change the flow direction. See the below video at 1:33 mark:
  23. The same transmission (6F55) was also used on the Police Interceptor Utility with the 3.5L Ecoboost. A heavier vehicle with a bigger and higher output engine in more sever duty. As @Xtra stated above, it can handle a lot more than the stock Edge Sport. Also, it has been used since the 2010 Taurus SHO and MKS Ecoboost, you'll find a lot of modded Tauruses and MKS'.
