Probably you'd know this, but make sure Emergency Braking is turned on in the settings screen. Also there is a sensitivity setting for the collision alert.

Sorry for the late answer answer, but kept forgetting to check for the noise when going out. The problem is that I remote start my car like 95% of the time. Anyway, today I checked. After unlocking the door from a distance I opened the door and no noise. Pressing the brake pedal braught up the noise. Though it is less obvious then the parking brake. And on another drive I did not hear it. So it seems it is not consistent. Or my hearing is weakening ?. Edit: Found SSM 48007 (attached) about a similar noise from the rear that as per Ford is from the RDU, but it is for the 2019 Edge/Nautilus. The 2019 models use a different AWD system than the 2015-2018 models, but as per this parts listing the RDU is the same for all 2015-2019 models. So maybe you have a similar issue as described. There is an "Anti-Slosh" mode to make the fuel gauge work smoothly. If during refueling the ignition was turned off or transmission shifted it might have prompted the anti-slosh mode to kick in resulting in fuel gauge not responding fully to the actual filled fuel amount. Then recovery mode corrected the reading later on. Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) - System Operation and Component Description.pdf

No. They are installed just behind the front wheels. This post has a link to the TSB which has a photo of them.

@coleford96 The TSB includes both, the bottom & rear weatherstrips. It also includes a mini mud flap that helps direct air and dirt a bit away. If the warranty doesn't cover it, the lower weatherstrips are about $40 each. They redesigned, so should be better than the originals: Right: https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-weatherstrip-door-lower-ft4z5820758b Left: https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-weatherstrip-door-lower-ft4z5820759b Also consider the mini-mudflaps: Right: https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-mudflap-asy-ht4z16a550aa Left: https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-mudflap-asy-ht4z16a550ba

You need to know if you have 315MHz or 433MHz. If buying onliine from site like TASCA, you can send them you VIN and they would tell you which is the correct one for your Edge.

As per the owner's manual, you should be able to get a seatbelt extension from your dealer. Free of Charge.

The 2019 ST has the new 8-speed (8F-57) which basically added a ratio between the previous 1st & 2nd and the other ratio an extra overdrive. So the comment by @jamie1073 makes sense.

"2FAST4U" would be cool ?

You can use Siri directly by pressing & holding the voice command button. https://owner.ford.com/support/how-tos/sync/sync-with-myford-touch/phone/how-to-use-siri-on-my-iphone.html As for the A/V Jacks, your assumptions are correct. Both of them.

2016 Edge Titanium headlights.
omar302 replied to SWC's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
These are the H15 bulbs I got. Since we are talking about LEDs, these are the best I've tried for the rear license plate lights. They had the most uniform illumination. Other bulbs I tried always had more light to the right side due to how the bulb would through the light pattern. As for the video posted, the problem with this comparo is that he is only measuring the highest point of the beam, which doesn't necessarily mean brighter vision for the driver. I know on my Edge, the Philips White Vision Gen2 are brighter than the stock Osram HBI even on the low beams.- 10 replies

Welcome to the forums. I have been using the D3S PHILIPS WHITE VISION 5000K for approximately a year now. They are brighter than stock and whiter, very close to the signature LEDs in the bumper. For DRL, I purchased a set of 50W H15 bulbs from AliExpress, they were too bright for me, I kept feeling that people would think I have the high beams on. Then replaced them with 30W version and I blocked off the lights firing straight out. Under the lens portion of the bulb, the lens screws off and put an aluminum foil under it. Now they are more "Factory" like for DRL lights.- 10 replies

Comprehensive List of Possible Forscan Mods?
omar302 replied to ben senise's topic in Accessories & Modifications
Since these were taken from the F-150, I guessed that TGI is for the current gear indicator and GRD is for displaying the current range of allowed gears. The 2nd one is a feature on the F-150 that allows the driver to pick out higher gears that are locked out, hence the the display of allowed range of gears. -
Comprehensive List of Possible Forscan Mods?
omar302 replied to ben senise's topic in Accessories & Modifications
I just tried. It doesn't work on my 2016 Sport. My default value is "0", changing to 8 or 9 gives an error for incompatible configuration. -
A dealer would be able to get it for using their equipment. Similar to when you lose a key.
-
Or anyone from the dealership. Or previous owner(s). Or anyone who had access to both keys (recent models). Or who peaked under the dash (older models). They should really allow it to be changed.
-
Ford's Keypad is very useful as stated above, the only drawback is that the factory code cannot be changed which is a serious risk in my opinion.
-
I had my 2011 MKX for ~ 6 years & ~ 70K miles. Original Tire set and one replacement set and did not have any issues with the TPMS. The manual does state that the valve stems should be replaced when installing new tires. But my tire shop did not change them. (link to Tasca Parts -315 MHz stems, for sensors with 433MHz have a different part number) Wheel and Tire assem.pdf

Dashboard instant mpg display?
omar302 replied to IcyFridge's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
Never saw such a mod. Don't think it exists. Are you referring to the mpg that is shown when you are in the Fuel Economy screen with the instant fuel economy? If so, just press and hold the left "OK" button. just like how you would reset Trips 1 & 2. -
Congrats. Welcome to the forums and enjoy your new ride.
