Did you turn it on with the button on the turn signal stalk?

In addition to the above, I'll add these 2 a bit more expensive options which in my opinion are worth the extra cost: For a wired adapter, there is now the OBDLink EX which was developed with the ForScan team and is considered one of the best options. It also automatically switches between HS & MS-CAN to read all Ford modules. It can also work for Firmware flashing that might come in future ForScan builds. For wireless, the updated OBDLink MX+ has the an additional feature compared to the non + version in that it includes Free unlimited vehicle-specific OEM data upgrades. This allows you to use OBDLink's app to read manufacturer specific codes for many other makes. For Ford vehicles it won't matter because ForScan does a better job anyway, but is a useful tool if you have other makes.

Attached is the procedure for changing it. Hope it helps. Rear Shock Absorber.pdf

Yes. You can easily flash the stock tune back. Takes around 5 minutes to flash.

As far as I know, it should work. Getting an APIM module with Navigation and having it programmed to your vehicle would add navigation. Check with @jmr061 as he offers a lot of modifications in his site.

I didn't find mode9 with ForScan, but it is easily found under the reports tab with the OBDLink Android app. Flashing LMS custom tunes nor flashing back to stock affects the counter. The reason I looked for this is because of the attached GSB (page 16). G0000128 Gas Engine Performance Modifications.pdf

It is probably the blend door actuator. Try resetting it by disconnecting the battery for 5-10 minutes or disconnecting the connector. If it doesn't work then it probably needs replacement.

I have LMS, can't say the Tune is bad, but there has not been an update for a long time. Also, there are not options or any other thing. I have read that some tuners are able to get the current gear indicator to show (Torrie I think). Also, I read that with other tuners you can use the same device for a new vehicle paying only for a new tune (~$150), but not with LMS. On the other hand, on my Edge with LMS, the number of key cycles (mode9) is not affected by the flashing process, which is one way Ford had mentioned as a way to figure out if a tune was flashed. Though I don't know how other tuners work.

Your car would have to use your phone's data to report health reports (when it was working). So if you do not give it access it will not report.

Master reset will reset the settings & erase user data, sometimes reffered to as a Hard Reset. The CD eject button + ">>" will simply restart the system, a Soft Reset. -
OBDLink Announces New Wired OBDII Reader

As per the ForScan Dec. 10 update, the team was involved in the development of this adapter. So it should good. -
You can enable a small vertical tach to be displayed next to the fuel gauge when the round tach is not selected. It should be under Settings>Display>Gauge Display.

I remember that on 2013 they changed the rear seat center arm rest. For the front they started using a different type of headrest in 2012, but that is interchangeable so you can use the new style on older models.

On pre 2015 models the battery management system can be reset by leaving the vehicle uninterrupted for 8 hours as @WWWPerfA_ZN0W stated above. Newer models need ForScan or a dealer to reset the battery age. At least that's what I understood from my readings on the systems. Also, on my 2016 with a new Motorcraft battery, it does not go above 80-85%. So it is either programmed like this, which makes sense as it is generally followed not to keep batteries charged to near full capacity to get a longer service life, or that even my Edge has a fault. Another thing, there is a As Built Data setting in the BCM that has to do with battery type/model, but with both my current Edge and previous MKX it did not match the actual installed battery from the factory.

Keyless Entry 2017 SEL
omar302 replied to Needle's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
Welcome to the forums. To answer your question, if you lock a fob inside the car you wouldn't be able to open the from the outside, unless you have the other fob with you of course. The door intelligent unlocking feature of the fob only works when the fob is outside the vehicle neer a door. -
Yep, that's how it works, I must've miss-understood what Jombi first posted.
-
Sorry, I don't know. But I'm sure someone will sure be able to answer your question.

I believe it is the computer assisted cranking system.

If I'm understanding correctly, you supposedly got the TSB done? Shouldn't the LMS tune be updated to the new PCM strategy before loading the it?
