Just in case you missed it, when shifting into revers, you have to press the button for left or right mirror to make that specific mirror tilt, they don't tilt automatically and you can't have both tilted at the same time.

Got you, I did it on the IPC (I think its called Silent mode iny IPC) and can enable it when wanted, especially useful during interior cleaning. For the revers mirror tilt, I am able to write the change to IPC, bit the option just doesn't come up, maybe it because I have an export model, but even without the IPC I still have the tilt feature working.

Didn't try yet. Don't have a confirmation that it is not normal.

@wandering mind Although the IPC doesn't change, it doesn't mean that the feature is not there, try to hit the mirror switches (left or right) when in reverse & see if it worked. The IPC change is only to give you a way to enable or disable it through the IPC. Also, why didn't you just use the button on the overhead console to disable the interior lights to come on when opening a door?

That is really expensive for such a light that neither serves as a DRL or Parking lights. Wish drivebright made a DRL version similar to what was offered for the 2011-2014 models.

@akirby I agree on the Explorer, the police version already outran the AWD & RWD 5.7 Charger Police versions, in acceleration, top speed & track. https://www.autoblog.com/2018/10/04/2020-ford-police-interceptor-utility-performance-tests/ The regular 5.7 charger is quicker than the Edge, though, the Police Charger has a 5 Speed auto versus the 8-speed in the civilian version.

I don't think the Edge offered a heated steering prior to the 2015 model.

If you still have the 2015, I believe it is a simple swap. On the other hand, how do you feel the power difference between the two? Also, how are the LED head lights at night compared to the HID on the 2015 (assuming you had factory HID)?

Sync 1 is the basic model with the small screen. Sync 2 is MyFord Touch with the 8" screen. Sync 3 is the new version that only came on 2016+ Edge in the US. So since you have a 2011 Limited then it has MyFord Touch which is Sync 2.

Did you try the codes from the 2GFusion sheet, under Power Point Timeout?

You have Sync 2. For 727-04-01, you will need to change the "0001" to "0101".

Yes, you can change it using ForScan, this is what you will need to change: 727-04-01 x*xx xxxx xxxx Tuner Region, Set the "*" to the following: 0=NA (North America), 1=GCC, 2=Japan, 3=Europe, 4=Asia Pacific

If you ask me, it is something with Ford's programming of the 6F55 when mated with the 2.7L (or the other way). The same thing is there with the Fusion Sport & MKX, they all seem to underperform relative to what they should be. The same transmission has been in the SHO & MKS since 2010 and they performed better despite being slightly heavier than the Edge & Fusion. I know that the SHO/MKS had the 3.5, but it's just to show that the tyranny has the ability to deliver.

2018 had Shadow Black. 2017 had Shadow Black. 2016 had Shadow Black. 2015 had Tuxedo Black. If you want to bother them less, buy touch up paint for both colors & then ask them which is theirs, give it to them & return the 2nd.

You need to do all the codes you quoted to enable the reverse mirror tilt. First code is to enable the option in the cluster to be able to select to turn it on/off. The other codes, 2 are for each door module (driver & passenger).

You could also look for a set of the newer style headrests, they are plug & play.

Nothing really concerning. The AWD is nearly the same, only it has the added benefit of a drain plug to make draining the PTU easier.

I didn't notice it was only for the 6F50/55. Sorry. Searching now I couldn't find it for the 6F35.
