    From the notice, it seems even with a rental you still keep your Edg/MKX with you till replacement parts are available, then you bring it in. @1004ron, the recall is different for the 2015+ Edge. Till now only the driver's airbag was recalled. No recall was announced for the passenger Airbag.

    I'd guess it's cost & marketing. The F150's engine is mounted different, so it will require additional engineering to adapt the new technology to FWD mounted engines.

    Not on the Edge, yet. The 2018 Edge Sport has the same engine as the 2015. The change you're referring to is in the F150 & Mustang.

    Try to reset the electronics by disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes.

    Here is a mirror on ebay, the puddle lamp is clearly different than the normal ones. But if you're looking for a change, consider LED puddle lamps, they are much brighter & the white light really makes a difference, doesn't feel like cheap lighting anymore. I got these from China, they were ~ $10 when I got them, really good & cheap.

    on a 2015+, the hood switch is different. I think it is part of the hood latch. But if the the switch is acting up, you should get a hood open/ajar message in the instrument cluster. Check if you have any DTC codes.

    Go to another dealer. Worst case scenario, change the seat bottom and/or track. Would be cheaper than what loss you'll incur from trading it in.

    Congratulations. Enjoy the ride. Yes.. That quick steering... When going back to a normal steering you'll feel what difference is there. Makes my turns big.

    Yes, you need to head to you dealer. There is no setting, it should come on with the parking lights.

    Change the wiper switch (stalk). It is quite easy & relatively cheap (~$30). This thread has good info. Search YouTube & you'll probably find a how to video. Videos for the Ford Explorer (2011-2015) are similar to the Edge. Also the procedure is similar to replacing the Turn Signal switch.

    Congratulations on the new to your Edge. Hope you enjoy it. If you like simple modifications, I'd recommend LED DRL & ForScan mods based on what you like.

    Replaced the fan assembly (both fans) with a new MotorCraft assembly.

    No, as I did the diagnosis myself. I remembered that during summer the fans would run at a very high speed that it becomes annoying to anyone standing in front of the car, but when A/C became weak, the fans never ran at that high (noisy) speed.

    I had my MKX's fans both working but not up-to normal speeds. In other words, the will be running but not at the required speed which caused my AC to not cool at idle. So checking the fans under the hood was not a good indication.

    On high, it is normal to hear the seat fan noise.

    If it breaks for any reason, it was not replaceable separately, the whole panel had to be replaced. Now the hook by itself can be replaced saving some of the cost.
