  1. https://parts.ford.com/shop/SearchDisplay?searchType=partnumber&parent_category_rn=&top_category=&categoryId=61505&storeId=1405&catalogId=251&langId=-1&vehicleId=2419577&dealerId=&sType=SimpleSearch&resultCatEntryType=2&showResultsPage=true&searchSource=Q&pageView=&beginIndex=0&pageSize=12&pageNumber=1&searchTerm=5560&searchTermPrepared=&categoryToggle=on https://www.tascaparts.com/auto-parts/2016/ford/edge/sport-trim/2-7l-v6-gas-engine/rear-suspension-cat/rear-suspension-scat There are 9 different part numbers for the rear Spring in the first link & 6 numbers in the second link.
  2. Don't forget that there is a new transmission which means different gear ratios, so the final drive alone does not give the full picture. But since it is a 8 speeds versus 6 speeds, there will be a difference.
  3. Can't comment on something I don't understand. But different part numbers can be for any difference. Even the same model year with & without vista roof would have different part numbers.
  4. On the 2011 MKX, the worst thing was not having front parking sensors. On the 2016, the short dead pedal, or actually that there it is closed from the top. Having size 13 shoes doesn't help. The 2nd thing is not having the washer & split camera view at the rear like the front.
  5. I'm with Nick on this one, but that is my opinion, a opinion only. Ford's website for the 2019 ST doesn't even mention ST tuned, only "Sport Tuned Suspension". Then again, on Ford's Media website, it is clearly more than "just" a rebadged "Sport", with an ST-tuned sport suspension, but doesn't seem to be the full "ST" treatment, merely "Enhanced". Considering there is still no firm evidence of either way, I'd suggest to let it go till some new info comes up.
  6. I lost faith in this guy when he used LED bulbs in regular headlights.
  7. I already took it in for it, but the odor is still there. Our dealer is not a competent one, but we don't any other one here, so I have no other choice.
  8. @lildisco Thanks for the pictures, do you get the exhaust odor under hard acceleration with climate on recirculating? Also, it seems the cut-offs on your liftgate are symmetrical on both sides? Location is not very clear on the first pic. Can someone else confirm? Especially on a year other than 2016? Maybe a bad batch?
  9. I think it refers to the minimum wheel size. On my 2016 Sport ETIS has it listed as "Brake Disc 18 Fr Vent/17 Sol Rear", guess the ST brake package nets you bigger rear vented discs instead of solids.
  10. Could someone with a 2015+ Edge confirm if this is normal or not? The weatherstrip for the lift gate has 2 places were it seems like a small piece is cut off. This is on the outer edge. Please see the photos. 1 cut is at the bottom right the other is at the left tailight.
  11. You mean the grille looking area on the bottom spoke? That is only a decoration. You have the adaptive steering wheel & the motor is behind it. Vehicles that don't have adaptive steering have an opening in that area.
  12. Since we're all talking about the power lift gate, there are also pinch sensors along the upper sides of the lift gate. I guess the theory is to avoid scissors like pinching when closing if something is there.
  13. I have recently tried cleaning the blades with a high concentrate mixture of MotorCraft windshield washer with water & it made a big difference compared to cleaning with water only.
  14. You need a special tool to remove the power outlet, then I believe you can replace the cover. https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-56457-Cigarette-Lighter-Removal/dp/B00G3YYSLE/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1528293696&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=Dorman+56457+Cigarette+Lighter+Socket+and+Removal+Tool&dpPl=1&dpID=41jzz8XCo5L&ref=plSrch
  15. SE with AWD come with 18" wheels standard (245/60R18). Probably due to the brakes as I recall AWD had larger front brakes.
  16. Was the driver's side also recalled for the 2007-2010 models? It is not included in this list: https://owner.ford.com/tools/account/maintenance/recalls/frequently-asked-questions-regarding-takata-airbag-inflator-recalls.html
  17. From the notice, it seems even with a rental you still keep your Edg/MKX with you till replacement parts are available, then you bring it in. @1004ron, the recall is different for the 2015+ Edge. Till now only the driver's airbag was recalled. No recall was announced for the passenger Airbag.
  18. I'd guess it's cost & marketing. The F150's engine is mounted different, so it will require additional engineering to adapt the new technology to FWD mounted engines.
  19. Not on the Edge, yet. The 2018 Edge Sport has the same engine as the 2015. The change you're referring to is in the F150 & Mustang.
  20. This confirms that the procedure is the same, but not whether the parts are the same or not.
  21. Try to reset the electronics by disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes.
  22. Or simply upgrade mft to v3.8 as it includes the above mentioned fix.
  23. Here is a mirror on ebay, the puddle lamp is clearly different than the normal ones. But if you're looking for a change, consider LED puddle lamps, they are much brighter & the white light really makes a difference, doesn't feel like cheap lighting anymore. I got these from China, they were ~ $10 when I got them, really good & cheap.
  24. This seems the part your looking for: https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts/ford-storage-box-fk7z5813546ab
