The Edge ST will replace the Edge Sport, my guess it that it'll be priced similarly. a 2018 Edge Sport tops at a hair under 50K before incentives, expect the ST to similar, maybe 1-2 grand more. Remember that the Edge ST is not a full ST model like the other ST vehicles.

Update, disconnect the wire, or more accurately, ripped out the connecter as it didn't get out. Now no more Sunroof/Shade opening with Global (remote) Opening of the front windows. And with Global Open enabled, I have a useful feature to vent the heat out in the summer, close the windows & remote start.

There is actually a transparent sticky pad that is used to mount the rain sensor to the windshield. When removing the sensor it would probably get damaged & should be replaced. But, is you wiper acting up only when it is on the auto position? If it is acting up when the switch is off, then it has nothing to do with the rain sensor. What kind of vehicle awareness? I am not an expert, but this doesn't sound right. The camera(s?) is mounted on the windshield but shouldn't be affected by changing it. It's not like a new pair glasses that needs adjustment to. Makes me question whether they know what they're are doing.

Van you see the edge of the glass if it is clearly laminated glass? I have not seen one myself (laminated vista roof) so I don't know if it looks like the front side windows where it is clear that they are 2 thin layers with a thinner insert between them.

I remember reading somewhere that the 2016 Edge Vista roof switched to a "dual panel" type for sound insulation. Also, there is at least 1 revision to the the part number, Tasca Parts shows FT4Z-58500A18-C as the latest & that it replaces FT4Z-58500A18-A. So make sure you get the latest revision.

Then again, the lower mileage could have been abused & the higher mileage taken good care of (MacT style). There are front and rear settings. You need to disable the front or rear depending on which your installing.
