  1. As Akirby stated go to another dealer, it should also be covered by the extended warranty for the MyFord Touch (APIM).
  2. Yes. GCC Frequency is scanning all, 0.1 & 0.2 FM. Both 2008 & 2011 cars.
  3. This is for my 2011 MKX with GCC Radio frequency: Audio Control Module ACM 727-01-01 92A0 C000 0022 ACM 727-01-02 0031 ACM 727-02-01 6596 ACM 727-03-01 1446 ACM 727-04-01 0103 0239 This is for my old car, 2008 Taurus with GCC frequency, the radio looks similar to 2008 Edge: Audio Control Module ACM 727-01-01 0040 50BB 68E3 ACM 727-01-02 0031 ACM 727-02-01 0132
  4. Although this is tried for 2011+ models, to enable European radio frequencies you need to change the As Built Data using ForScan in the ACM module using in block "727-04-01" in the first box, change the 2nd digit from "0" to "1".
  5. Your Edge most probably stalled & that would explain the Power Steering since it requires the engine to be running to provide steering assist.
  6. I can't help where to find suitable caps, but note that the MKX you pictures also has the plastic skin (chrome cladding).
  7. The 2011-2014 Edge (V6, not sure of the Eco) have normal hydraulic power assisted steering. It is generally hard/harder than other non-sport cars. The 2011+ Explorer has EPAS (Electrical Power Assisted Steering) & I is much lighter than the 2011-2014 Edge.
  8. I know, but when the brake lights illuminate, they have this kind of a glow that makes some think they are LEDs. That's my guess any way.
  9. I'd say it was probably a 2011-2014 Edge. Those have 2 bulbs for brake lights on each side (total 4), so the vehicle in question would have had the left bottom & right top bulbs not working.
  10. Congrats jmr061 on the new ride, hope you enjoy it to the fullest. So how does it compare to the 2016 Explorer Sport?
  11. I didn't put any link, but here are the links for the stock (regular) Rocker Moldings: Left Rocker Panel: http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/at4z78101a05aa Right Rocker Panel: http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/at4z78101a04aa End Cap 1: http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/7t4z7810176aa End Cap 2: http://www.tascaparts.com/oe-ford/7t4z7810177aa
  12. Seeing that the regular Rocker Panel Moldings & Caps are the same for all 2007-2014 Edge & MKX, I'd say they should fit like what BigMoteZee did.
  13. engma-2, the Sport's shifter doesn't have +/- buttons on it. So you have to make sure the part number is correct.
  14. This talk about the valve covers reminded me that there was a TSB for 2011-2013 models that might experience engine oil migrating into the air intake, replacement of the valve cover is required to fix it. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/17714-oil-in-throttle-body/
  15. D3S bulbs are real hid bulbs. Designed & built as hid bulbs only with the ignitor at the base. An H11 is a regular tungsten (halogen) bulb. Any hid H11 bulb is not a real hid bulb but an hid capsule fitted on an H11 base. In short, if you need oem hid, go for the D3S.
  16. There was a TSB for this sound, TSB 11-12-13 TSB 11-2-13__.pdf
  17. The rear wiper on the 2015+ Edge is different compared to the previous models. Looking at the Owners Manual, it looks like the same as the 2011+ Explorer.
  18. @WWWPerfA_ZN0W posted the procedure for the blower motor replacement in this thread.
  19. Mac, are both your Edges the same with regards to the towing package? (both have it/don't have it). I think this might be a major difference that could affect temp difference between both. Also, as per the Owners Manual, it is normal for the trans tempreture to increase after long drives:
  20. Just to chime in a bit, tried a Lexus ES350 with cooled seats & they are definitely worse than Ford's. Maybe Ford's problem with the backseat is that their bottom seat cools so good that drivers would compare the seat bottom to the back & expect the same cooling, naturally.
  21. I have noticed that lowering the seat gives more front leg room. It seems the seat moves up/down at an incline.
  22. 335 hp as per Lincoln, using 93 octane.
  23. There is a possibility that the HVAC module has DTC code, which if true, would make easy for the dealer to diagnose.
  24. Could be a bad wiper switch? Do the wipers wipe 3 times when turning on the front washer? As enigma-2 stated above, first make sure you are not hearing the pump when activating front washers. I had a nearly similar issue & it turned out that the hose under the hood (above the insulator) got loose & washer was being pumped on the under hood insulator, so even water leaks were not immediately noticeable.
