Get the PCM repaired you should be good unless the total hosed up the engine work that they needlessly performed. Man what a mess.

Check the transmission torque mount located under the trans/engine and attached to the frame. The rubber bushing may be broken or worn and will cause excessive vibration. Also check the left and right mounts on each side inside the engine compartment.

Repair data says the seat back is the location of the heating device. not the seat.

Not all TB are failing. Granted a number of them are, but I must be one of the lucky ones as I have never had one fail in over 600,000 accumulated miles on all three of my Edges. It is bad luck for sure that you were having issues. You at least caught it and corrected it in a preventive manner to keep you wife safely running down the road.

Curious as to the frequency of your coolant changes during the life of the water pump. What coolant did you use and the number of times you replaced the coolant?

What are your numbers for shift lag and response? Also have you changed the fluid in the transmission. I will also say you are already at about 70 percent of capacity at far as speed. This will have an affect on acceleration.

I think a Solar BA 7 is a good investment for checking batteries. My alternator was acting normal in most cases but shunting charge just enough to not charge the battery but barely maintain it and loosing ground with each use.

What is the draw on the battery when everything is turned off?

Head failure on a 3.5 duratec is not a very common thing unless it was ran without coolant. The vote is the PCM failing plus the best bet is a coil pak and new pcv. Oil change and a rebuilt PCM installed BEFORE you even try to start it with the new plugs and coils. Note I would have no faith in them if they are saying no compression in the cylinder they probably hosed up the compression test.
