  1. wow 6 of them for 193.00 thanks. Repairing vehicles this much lately is starting to strain the budget. This really helped.
  2. I can hear those dry lifters from here. The battery will definitely be toast. You might get lucky and the calipers and rotors might not be welded together with rust. Storage is hard on cars.
  3. What was the warranty extend to for the brake booster? Not sure if the 2011 Edge I have has had any issues in the past, but the brakes feel good on it when I get the opportunity to drive it. Only issue I feel is a slight warping of the rotors. As far as batteries. I am on my third battery, bought the cheapest one with the shortest life. Kid tried to sell me a 5 or 6 year battery and I looked at him and said "really?, this car has 276,000 miles on it why would I buy a 5-6 year battery?"
  4. The engine analysis showed the Autozone Relia coil working great on #4 and the Delphi working great on #1. Not sure if coloring affects the coils but number two and three looked very corroded and number two also looked blacker, but the computer indicated both were operating. I will replace them as I found the coils (delphi) for 52 dollars each at Rockauto. The local guys want 92 dollar each for the same brand in the stores. Go figure. Did I mention I despise working on engine ignition issues? Requires too many computers and other things to correct them. I will win this one as I am too deep into it now not to finish it. At least I have the 2011 Edge for the wife to drive.
  5. Just a bit off topic but.....Why are the coils on my Ford Edge original with 276,000 miles still working and yet the coils on my wife Trailblazer dropping like flies at 110,000 miles. This is ridiculous. TB ran great yesterday full power computer verified no misfires and wham first thing this morning misfires when we decided to use it to go to church. Turned it off and Took the 2011 Edge to church just like always reliable and runs.
  6. It lives. Runs better than it did before we bought it. So well the wife wants to start driving it again. Hummm unused 2011 Ford Edge sitting in driveway. Humm wonder if she will notice if I...........
  7. No matter how it is phrased it still comes out zero. LOL
  8. Just a note of thanks to you all from me and MercyGirl. We appreciate the thumbs up/likes and those of you who have chosen to subscribe to our channel on youtube. This video has now reach 1000 views as of today, which hopefully means we have help 1000 other folks fix there Ford Edge!!!! Giving makes us feel good. Taking a ford break this weekend and have to address a dead Chevy Trailblazer. Wish me luck.
  9. Shhhhh. No Orange Crush repair videos this weekend. Whispering....I am going to be working on a chevy....
  10. Some how I do not think I would get fair market value. For my Orange Crush it would be 50 percent of what Zero?
  11. K&N on the Orange Crush for 276,000 miles and original MAF and never cleaned.
  12. I venture into Illinois all the time. My church is in Illinois
  13. If you really wanted to mess with people you could get one of those tire monitor devices and reset them and cause the TPMS to turn on. Not that I would do that.
  14. It is more for airflow than any other purpose. If you do a lot of highway driving you may find it useful, but if mostly city may not even cause a single issue. Does look cleaner though. No more curb catcher.
  15. It will show up under alerts on your left side readings. You will also get a tire light on the dash.
  16. The Edge is now a MPV not a truck, not and SUV or CUV.
  17. I would by a new Ford edge today if they came up with a straight 5 year warranty with no mileage attached.
  18. Yes I do not have the link but it is pretty easy it just pops out if I remember correctly.
  19. My Orange Crush makes little creaky noises. Anyone know why?
  20. I talked to him and he is kicking himself for not making a video on the rear as it was an AWD and he said that was a really fun one to remove and replace.
  21. Let's just assume that improperly torqued lugs and heat are a bad combination.
  22. And just where are the cookies? see now you diverted my attention. Oh and don't you have some K&N air filters to peddle? LOL
  23. Here is a video on how to remove and replace the front wheel bearing on a Ford Edge.
  24. Now that you bring it up. I better keep our dogs away from it.
