  1. A video showing the Orange Crush doing what it does best. Getting me to my client and picking up that precious cargo as the end of the day.
  2. See any Ford Edges over there? Stay out of the Red Light districts
  3. Thought I would put together a video of a short work day for the Orange Crush. 14 minutes covering one day (less than 100 miles) local job and then done in time to pick up MercyGirl from work (school). Time lapse dash cam video. Will post it soon.
  4. sigh. Nothing to do and nothing to fix. Orange Crush just running without a miss. I wonder if Ford Service follows this post? No repair videos this weekend as I said above. I guess MercyGirl will have to figure out what to do with the extra time this weekend other than yard work. LOL
  5. So I would be offered zero and the dealer would get 15 percent of that? Was not sure about your Kilometers so I translated my Miles to kilometers and came up with this 453.835km
  6. I believe the option would be to remove the intake. Remove the fuel injection fuse then connect the voltmeter or engine analysis computer to the injector wiring. Then crank it to obtain a reading on the the voltages. A lot of work for a snap shot but it would confirm the wiring is either good or bad and allow for a better determination as to the direction you would have to proceed.
  7. A lot of the time the pads and maybe even the rotors are warrantied. Depending on where you bought them and other things like time and miles. If it was a shop install it would actually be cheaper to just buy new rotors and pads and do it yourself as most likely the shop will charge you astronomical labor to change out a 30 dollar set of pads. I have not made a brake video yet. Just takes too long for me to wear them out.
  8. I would shoot for the warranty parts on this. Your rotors are done and that does not account for the rust either. Time for new rotors and pads. You might want to try out the coated rotors to slow down the rust issue.
  9. I am not an electrical engineer but you should be able to test the wiring at each plug to determine if you have the juice going to each coil. This would most likely be the best first step. Maybe someone here can outline how this is done.
  10. I have had great luck with many store brands and basic rotors. I however am more inclined to the Autozone High carbon steel rotors with their premium ceramic pads. Very quiet and great stopping ability. If Your brakes are making noise I guess you could by the Noise Dampeners and install those to get a quieter brake. You folks use your brakes too much I did not replace my fronts until 175,000 miles. The rears were replaced at 220,000 miles.
  11. I have never had that problem. You may want to get it checked out. That 3.5 is a pretty good engine.
  12. Watch out for those dear in your area they jump out at ya hiding in the ditches just waiting. Got mine in New Vienna.
  13. My number of tires and repairs I have had done. My tire repair shop would not plug, double patch or hot glue the hole on that tire. They however would willingly sell me a new tire. Of course you could always DIY your repair, but that side wall is rather important to the integrity of the tire at speeds. Safety might be a word you would chose to use. Now if that was a piece of rebar I would say the answer is obvious.
  14. You mean the two or three gallons I squeeze into the tank after the first click? Count me in on the abuse of my evap.
  15. Got a wiggle up front. Not sure if the Drivers side ball joint is no showing the wear and tear or inner tie rod. I will have to lift it up and check that ball joint on the drivers side. Only has about 50k on it, but then again the passenger side only had about 60K on it when I replaced it.

  17. Oil changes to pizza what is the connection? LOL
  18. My oldest daughter was born in Pouzulli (sp) Italy (Naples) We lived in Italy for four years and I have yet to find a pizza that comes close to Italian pizza here in the United States.
  19. Save fuel reduce the Junk In Your Trunk as they say.
  20. Sure did, It seems that other had done the same thing and the guy said just use it. I guess they hide the anti freeze drain stands now and control them by making people check them out since no one reads the sides. So yes, but I was told to use it to change the oil.
  21. The issue may very well be your capless filler neck valve. I would recommend cleaning it best you can and then getting some WD40 and a small plastic hose or funnel and then plunging it repeatedly into the filler then spraying it and plunging it again then wiping it out. This has been done with others tanks on Youtube and had good results. Also clean the gasket real good around the cover of the tank lid. Inspect it to ensure it has a strong spring and closes completely. This helps keep road garbage from entering the filler neck.
  22. Wow Only 19K left to go. Just peeping over the hill at 300,000 miles. Time to get ready to update the Pinned Topic to 300,000!!
  23. Not one issue with my MFT or APIM since it was repaired. Works like a champ and even seems a little faster.
  24. Your question really does not make sense. Everything is suppose to operate if the engine is running. Especially if you turned it on. You may wish to redefine you problem.
  25. A little Naugahyde and ya got a good seat cushion.
