  1. My guess it's sticking to the inside walls and parts. You try sucking out the old goo and refilling?
  2. There is no easy answer as to whether these will fit or not. (By "not", they will fit, bit it may throw off the offset by a certain amount. Whether this will affect the drivability or not is the question). You may find the following link informative "Everything you ever wanted to know about wheel spacers." https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?1364210-Everything-You-Ever-Wanted-To-Know-About-Wheel-Spacers Here's a link to understanding offset: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?techid=101
  3. Would an emblem like these work for you? https://www.realtruck.com/defenderworx-billet-tailgate-emblems/R184832P2016Y203MA.html
  4. Some other thoughts, mounting hardware, a/c belt getting old - wobbles when the extra load of a/c engages. Idler pulley bearings.
  5. I don't think it was covered under the federal requirements. https://www.epa.gov/air-pollution-transportation/frequent-questions-epas-office-transportation-and-air-quality
  6. Good you caught it under warranty. Does the new unit have a drain plug?
  7. Varies with location. KBB stares the fair market price is $38,639 base in my area. Need to check price in your area. Also considerations on price include FWD,AWD, engine, paint color, option, and availability. https://www.kbb.com/ford/edge/2016/sport/?vehicleid=414920&intent=buy-new Look at what's bring offered in your area and offer $1000 less. One dealer may have a fat invent and be looking for a way to move product. Another down the street is sitting ok and is not movitated.

  10. I remember reading about the fuel aspect years ago, but I think your right about the Firestone (Eagle wasn't it) tire problem. Forgot all about that, lot of people were killed because of low tire pressure. Caused a big hullabaloo in congress. And yes, it applies to all vehicles (under 10,000 GVWR if I remember correctly).
  11. Believe it was enacted as an additional method to become more fuel efficient. A small loss of air uses slightly more fuel. Wish the statute had mandated a visual readout of the actual pressure for all four tires. Does now for many cars, but not all cars and few of the earlier models. Been nice if it did trigger at 10%.
  12. Don't know, haven't seen you yet. "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch"
  13. Interesting reading on their usefulness. https://www.carid.com/articles/age-old-debate-do-bug-deflectors-work.html
  14. Its the badges and/or plastic covers they put on the tailgate or rear hatch to glitzy it up a little. The Ford logo double-faced taped on the rear is an applique. You can spend an extra $500 on a Raptor and get a big plastic applique that rads "PLATINUM" on it. Looks great, but for $500?
  15. Or you could just glance down at the speedometer.
  16. I believe there's a couple of situations where you get a single horn chirp. One is when you hit the lock button on your remote and the horn chirps once to verify that all the doors are closed and locked. The other involves the remote start, one chirp means the system has received a engine start signal.
  17. I use a harness wired into my mirror (MirrorTap) for my radar detector, turns on and off with the ignition. But that's 12 volt, not 5 volts. Everything in the mirror (dimming, speaker, etc.) runs on 12 volts as far as I know. Suppose you could tap 12 v.and use an in-line resistor to drop to 5 volts. This is the harness I bought, price took a huge jump over the last couple of years, believe I paid $25. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LBKR2SA/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmr0_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1485588233&sr=8-2-fkmr0&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=mirrortap%2Busb&th=1&psc=1
  18. For you fellas that have had this mod for a year or more, have you noticed aNY crazing or burning of the reflective material or premature glazing on the clear cover? Has anyone checked the sockets for burning?
  19. I seriously doubt that it would cause an overheating problem, but I seen a car two nights ago with one of these light bars on it, the brightness and glare was considerable. Like someone coming at you with brights on.
  20. ... unless you take clients out to lunch on a regular basis. LOL. I was talking with my local service manager about this, his "opinion" was, the "life of the vehicle" is the life of the standard warranty.
  21. Pretty sure that the back is all one piece a the way up into the leather/foam cover. May he possible to remove the entire armrest.
  22. You could have the engine bay cleaned. I use a local full-service detailer and the engine bay looks showroom.
