My 2017 Sport will lock with the fobs inside, and I assume its the same for all the others. Leave the fobs inside, close the door and touch the top of the door handle and it will lock, or hold two numbers simultaneously on the keypad, then unlock with the keypad. If locked with the fobs inside, the only way to open it is with the keypad or with the key that you can detach from the FOB (prior to them being locked in the vehicle).

Correct, it's inside the tank and part of the fuel pump assy.

I've tried Carplay with my iPhone and it works well, but would prefer the simplicity without connecting my iPhone. The wireless CarPlay would be nice, but the devices are all >$100 and I don't need navigation very often.

The new NA 2 20 maps need some custom tweaking. On the ride to work it routed me on secondary roads, very curvy and in places only single car width, so in spite of it selected to "quickest route", it added 8 minutes to my work commute. Still haven't found the selection to avoid the secondary roads - suggestions welcome.

Adding a fuel additive to the tank will do no harm, but don't expect it to resolve the evap issue. Why couldn't they have read the codes and replaced the evap valve?

I'm not too bothered about the "radio logos and calm screen" so won't work at that, but let us know how it goes if you do.

It can be done with new hardware.

Used that new simple method today and it worked great. Took about an hour to download and write to the USB drive, and 25 minutes to update the car. That's not correct - the codes are stored.

I have an email from my dealership service manager stating that they will scan it for codes and if the evap code is found they will replace the Evap Valve when I go in to get the brake recall done, which I'm still waiting for.

You might want to try a better image - impossible to read that even on a large monitor. You don't have an EGR. How's the coolant level ? Get the codes read at Autozone and post them here.
