  1. If you got it through the Ford owner website then you have whatever is appropriate for your vehicle - nav or non-nav.
  2. If you're ordering then it won't really matter. If you're buying off the lot then end of the month is best (end of year doesn't really matter except that it's also the end of the month). And then it really depends on the vehicle you want and what type of month the dealer has had - it's not always going to be better. Option 2 won't matter because the dealer won't book the sale or get the revenue until you actually take delivery. Best bet is to simply figure out what you want to order and either call or email several dealers and ask for their best out the door price on a special order. You'll have to take your chances on the incentives. You can also request a brochure online a couple of weeks before the vehicle arrives and you might get an extra $750 personal rebate. The price difference is only going to be a couple hundred bucks either way. If you want the absolute lowest price you'd need to find a vehicle that's been sitting on the lot for a few months and hit the dealer at the end of the month, but doesn't sound like you'd want that vehicle. I'd just do the price comparison above and order the vehicle the way you want it and don't sweat the extra $200-$300.
  3. Pretty sure ETIS uses European date format, so May 6 may be correct.
  4. Did the APIM come with the touchscreen or did you reuse the old one?
  5. That's roughly how much I've saved on 5 vehicles that I kept 2-4 years after the 3/36 warranty expired by not buying an extended warranty. I could replace an engine tomorrow and still be $4K ahead.
  6. Not sure if it's climate or roads or the way we drive but we never get more than 25K out of passenger car tires and 35K from crossover tires. Personally I would not want to drive on tires with rubber so hard they last 60K or 80K.
  7. In my case it feels better to save over $8K by never buying one in the first place. YMMV.
  8. You don't really sync the car, you just sync your phone or mp3 player or usb stick so that it knows what songs you have for voice recognition and to display on the browse menu. This normally only takes a few minutes after you first plug it in.
  9. You don't have to change them, just loosen and retighten.
  10. Like I said, it usually takes them a day or two to put the new rebates on the website after the old ones expire.
  11. It wasn't really feasible at $2K+ but for $600 I think a lot of folks would do it.
  12. It's already included in the X plan price either way so it should never show up on the buyer's order. But in the past it was always shown as a separate line item on the dealer invoice along with the fuel fee. In the past this made it hard to use the internet to get an accurate dealer invoice price and because the FDAF fee varied from vehicle to vehicle, region to region, which is why it wasn't included in online dealer invoice pricing sites. Hopefully they stopped doing it and just included a standard fee on all vehicles as part of the base price.
  13. Grab the left rear cargo panel and pull. From what I remember it just pops off. I didn't have to remove it completely - just enough to access the wire on the back of the outlet. Note this is on a MKX - I'm assuming the Edge is similar.
  14. That feature doesn't even work with iphones, so Siri eyes free (or Carplay) is the only option. Siri Eyes Free works great.
  15. Sometimes it takes a day or so for the new rebates to appear. Check with a dealer to be sure.
  16. Interesting that there is no FDAF (Regional advertising) on that invoice. Have they stopped listing it separately?
  17. That's not a good analogy. You don't load software on a DVD or register it. A better analogy would be a smartphone that someone had taken home, activated and used it.
  18. I think we'll just call this one done before it gets really nasty.
  19. Even without misfires you don't want to leave them in for 100K.
