  1. As stated above, there is no way to change to a smaller fob. As your Edge's year is not mentioned, which Fob do you have? I think they switched to the new style end of 2017. Maybe you'd prefer the other style, but both are similarly sized. The fob sizes are similar, just the number of buttons change.
  2. It is supposed to give access to the fuse panel, but like the 2015+ models, fuse access from there is very limited. I also remember reading a member here who got a drawer from a previous model and installed instead of this cover. Just couldn't find that post. I think it was 2018 when they replaced the drawer with the cover.
  3. In the 2019 Edge Owners Manual, it states you can can disable manual control by pressing holding the upshift (+) paddle. This seems to be something new as it wasn't mentioned in previous models and doesn't work on my 2016.
  4. Welcome to the forums. Congratulations.
  5. I personally immediately disabled it, no thinking about it. But with @akirby suggestion, you close the door to first click, it won't double honk and door could be locked.
  6. The Edge doesn't have rear climate control, the rear vents opening is connected by a duct coming from the front. So no separate control is possible.
  7. I assume you have Sync 3. Use the screen to change the flow direction. See the below video at 1:33 mark:
  8. The same transmission (6F55) was also used on the Police Interceptor Utility with the 3.5L Ecoboost. A heavier vehicle with a bigger and higher output engine in more sever duty. As @Xtra stated above, it can handle a lot more than the stock Edge Sport. Also, it has been used since the 2010 Taurus SHO and MKS Ecoboost, you'll find a lot of modded Tauruses and MKS'.
  9. Welcome & congratulations. @1004ron, and the interior. Stitched Leather lined dashboard and door panels. Quilted leather seats. Fully Carpeted cargo area (+ side panels). Fog lights. Adaptive LED Headlights. And a Diesel.
  10. For me and you, and most who come into this forum, yes. Majority of the buying public? It is not a simple workaround.
  11. I didn't try it myself, but the Escape I saw & heard did it for both doors as I watched the guy open & close them.
  12. She would have noticed the yellow warning rectangle in the instrument cluster that clearly states key not found. The chime would also ring. But unfortunately, liability issues and how some stupid people act and file lawsuits whenever they can will cause misery to more people.
  13. Good comparison, but if my fridge double honked a loud horn I'd definitely throw it out. The problem with Ford's implementation is their extremely annoying loud noise. And it does it on all doors. The other day a guy in an Escape got out while the engine is running and it double honked. He opened the rear door to let his young daughter out, double honk. Get stuff out the lift gate, double honk. Others, at least Nissan & Toyota from my experience, use a softer beeping tone that doesn't wake up the neighborhood or puts you in an awkward position with others thinking your honking on them. Though with the newer Ford's and their cost cutting single horns I imagine it would be less annoying.
  14. I noticed the same thing when reading info released on the ST. Felt like they ignored that the Sport ever existed and did not state what exact improvements where made compared to the Sport. Thanks for the feedback. Also, did you have the 21" or 20" wheels on the Sport?
  15. Congratulations on the new ST. Tell us more on the 2016 Sport vs 2019 ST differences please.
  16. Once the ST badge is removed, will it leave a blank space were it was that is visible?
  17. Congratulations and welcome to the forums.
  18. That is a different system/tech. The Edge Sport/ST use a totally electronic system similar to noise cancellation headsets. How it works in the Edge was explained in this post.
  19. What your facing is NOT normal. My Edge's TPMS readouts are very close to actual measurements, and they do fluctuate from cold to hot (morning start to after a 30 minute drive). Also the outside temperature reading is also fairly accurate.
  20. The last two digits are a checksum, it is normal to change after any change in the digits before. ForScan will calculate the correct checksum for you. Normally the vehicle tones are routed through the audio speakers, sometimes they would come directly from the instrument panel cluster. They should return back to the audio speakers after a vehicle restart. If they remain coming from the instrument cluster then you have an issue, either the setting was changed with ForScan or some other reason.
  21. By the way, you can also disable ANC temporarily by leaving a door ajar, at least the driver's door works as per my experience. Just to see what kind of difference you can expect from disabling it.
  22. I did it a long time ago, but I remember it was as per that thread I posted.
  23. See this thread which is for an Explorer but should similar to your Edge for how to remove it.
  24. @onyxbfly, I also use the same adapter. Really good one. Also the new MX+ version has iPhone support and includes "additional" OEM code reading abilities that now come with no extra cost. Would help in diagnostics for non-Ford vehicles.
