  1. Update on the remote, I had the blank key from the new style remote cut and it works smoothly unlocking the driver's door and the glove box. Also, As I now have an extra fob, I removed the batteries from one of the old ones and hid it in the car. Now the car would not recognize it, but if I get in using the keypad and place the remote (without batteries) into the back up slot in the center console I can start the engine and drive. Did it work? If not, to test if the remote works (at least partially) is to do a remote start, it should fail and then the led would flash red several times.
  2. For whats its worth, Ford's TSB 18-2339 for fixing "Dirt/Dust And/Or Ice Accumulation At The Bottom Inside Of Doors" also involves replacing the rear door "rear portion" weatherstripping with updated parts and a "Grip Tape" that helps hold the said weatherstrips better. In addition a "Foam Patch" is also installed on the door itself to better "push" against the weatherstrip. 3. Nice work. I think there is some confusion around the 3:10 mark, the step for removing the original horn comes after trying to install the new horn. Maybe an error during stitching of the video clips.
  4. I programmed a 3rd intelligent access key. Used the new 2019 style fob. Read how many Raptor & F-150 owners did it, so decided to try it myself. Mind you, my fob is different from US versions having no "Panic button" and using the 868 MHz frequency, US use 902 MHz, if i remember correctly. I purchased this FOB and this blank key from eBay (same seller). Followed the instructions in the manual, took many tries until finally it worked. My problem was with the last step, after putting the new fob and pressing the ignition start button nothing would happen so i'd press it a second time thinking I did not press it correctly and then a message comes up that programming failed. The last time after pressing the ignition button (nothing would happen) left it a few moments and it programmed successfully. Another note, the manual states to have the buttons facing back, but that is not correct, they need to face UP with the key ring facing towards the back of the car. Another thing, when programming the new style key, remove the key so it fits better in the back up slot. Edit: Update on the remote, I had the blank key from the new style remote cut and it works smoothly unlocking the driver's door and the glove box.
  5. Seems it just pulls out. This image is part of the B-Pillar removal procedure. B-Pillar Trim Panel R and I.pdf
  6. It is my car. Took the video myself ?. What is different?
  7. On my 2016 Edge I found out that it will relearn the positions of the tire automatically after a tire rotation.
  8. It is normal to have 3-5 psi change between readings from a cold tire (parked overnight) and a hot tire (ex. 10 mile ride). Also, the TPMS low light would come on when the tire is around 25% under recommended pressure, for the Edge the recommended pressure is 35 psi and the light would come on around 26-28 psi (not sure exactly). From what you have explained and see anything unusual. Also remember that the readings are sent from each sensor every 2 minutes or so, so there might be bigger differences between tires depending on when the system updates. One last variable is the rounding of numbers, 35.4 & 34.6 will both probably read as 35, but then one will read 36 psi much quicker.
  9. This is what they did with the previous generations of the Edge & Explorer as part of a TSB to fix exhaust odor that was entering then cabin at high acceleration cases. Edit: I just remembered I posted pictures about it when it was done to my old MKX.
  10. @Scott98 See the attached if it helps. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Valve 27l.pdf
  11. Ours would have KPH on the outside and MPH on the inside. I'd always know it's is not the correct one! Bad case of OCD.
  12. Congrats @2FAST4U, nice ride. Also those wheels are amongs the nicest on the Edge. Definitely better looking than the ST's wheels.
  13. It is most probably a glitch. You can force a restart by holding the power and seek (forward/right) buttons for a few seconds.
  14. Is it possible to remove that orange banner at the top (Edge ST enthusiast)? Or suggest to make an option to dismiss it. It just feels like there is a warning every time I access the site.
  15. There was a message on it with Ford foe a fix. Though it seems what @onyxbfly suggested might be a similar fix. https://ford.oemdtc.com/3616/remote-start-selections-grayed-out-for-heated-steering-wheel-heated-seats-2015-2018-ford-edge-2016-2018-lincoln-mkx
  16. See the attached Ford General Service Bulletin to see how your concern should be classified by Ford. G0000179 Window Glass.pdf
  17. Thanks for the feedback. Now that you mentioned it was sitting outside, my Edge's driver seat-belt seems to be affected if it was heat soaked. Though it does not fully lock, only locks a couple times while trying to buckle up (have to retract it a bit then re-pull). Other than when being heat soaked, it works fine.
  18. When going through ForScan mods and settings, which are based on "As Built Data", you have settings for tire sizes. So each Edge with Factory 21", 20" or 18" will have different "As Built Data". There has to be another effect, not just the speedometer reading.
  19. P206 seems to indicate a fault with the #6 injector. Found this post about it. Others will probably give you better answers than me. P0216 is for Injection Timing Control Circuit Malfunction. Seems the misfiring is just a symptom of the injector problem.
  20. Might want to share what are the codes you are getting. Could help in helping diagnose the problem.
  21. I cannot answer for #2. But for the battery, new cars have smart charging systems where it would stop charging the battery if system detects battery is charged enough (or some other criteria, not exactly sure). So seeing voltage changes is not an indication of a bad alternator.
  22. I'd be interested, if someone can help in finding an instrument cluster in Km/h. Couldn't find one.
  23. For the most part, most cars with Automatic transmissions did not have manual control foe gear ratios. Furthermore, with newer small displacement engines (usually Turbocharged), engine braking is weak compared to older, bigger engines. With my Sport (2.7 EcoBoost) engine braking is considerably weaker than my previous MKX with the 3.7L. And those are nothing compared to the 4.6L v8 in the 1996 Grand Marquis we had before that.
