The 2011 does not have a button to disable courtesy lamps with the door(s) open. Do all the lights not light up with an open door? Even the rear cargo light? If yes, then it is either a fuse or maybe dark mode was enabled. Dark Mode is a setting in the body control module to do just that, but it needs a dealer to program it or using a PC and a software called ForScan with a compatible adapter. Now, if only the front lights do not work while the rear/cargo do work, then it might be a disconnected wire in the overhead console (behind the lights).

Don't the emergency brakes use the brake shoes inside the rear disc/drum and hence would not have an effect on the calipers? Edit: My mistake, it doesn't as clarified by WWWPerfA_ZN0W below.

I assume you have MyFord Touch, this is a bug, the system restarts every about 20 hours of operation and that's when the screen dimming reverts to default. You can also touch Day or Night then go back to auto. This bug also affects the phone ringer & message tones when selecting anything other than the default. Tones will revert to default. For the other issue, I don't recall reading about it. Try a battery disconnect to reset the electronics.

What I did to close it, get some one to help, preferably 2 persons. Open the vista roof slightly (~1" movement) to get the track back behind or at their original position relative to the glass, then press the button to close the glass while the two helpers each pushing the glass from outside, one from each side till the glass closes.

Also might want to check that the notches on the back of the pads and caliper surface groves are aligned correctly.

As far as I know, only the Sport model has ANC it. It is also probably only for engine noise, to cancel out unwanted noises (frequencies) & to keep the better parts. Compared to the Escape, yes, the Edge is definitely quieter than the Escape, mostly due to the platform itself.

Try to disconnect the car battery for ~10 minutes to reset the electronics and see if it helps.

They have different part numbers, so they would be different.

Is that confirmed? I have not seen mentioned in the articles I read.

They should have changed the instrument panel. The one used has been on the Edge since 2011, only slightly changed.

The 2011-2014 Edge has guide lines, but they are fixed. They don't move.

Was it working fine previously? Is the check engine light on? Hood closed properly? Any body work done recently on the hood/front end? If all is OK, try the 2nd remote. I previously faced something close, turned out the flexible plate under the start button on the remote remote had moved & caused the button to get pressed a 2nd time.

Most of 2015+ mods are different because the vehicle's systems have changed. I am not aware of any mod to enable the digital speedometer in 2011-2014 Edge. Changing the lane change's 3-flashes to 4, 5, 6 or 7 is possible on the 2011-2014 Edge.

The Edge ST will replace the Edge Sport, my guess it that it'll be priced similarly. a 2018 Edge Sport tops at a hair under 50K before incentives, expect the ST to similar, maybe 1-2 grand more. Remember that the Edge ST is not a full ST model like the other ST vehicles.

It might not be literally zero fuel, but close enough to get 0 L/100km in the instant fuel economy display.

Yes, you are correct, Microsoft is not part of Sync 3. The listing is wrong, but still, it is made in China / Assembled in Mexico. You can see other listings.

Update, disconnect the wire, or more accurately, ripped out the connecter as it didn't get out. Now no more Sunroof/Shade opening with Global (remote) Opening of the front windows. And with Global Open enabled, I have a useful feature to vent the heat out in the summer, close the windows & remote start.
