By they way, though you probably already know it, the first fuel economy screen, the one that has a moving bar for current fuel economy and has an average economy, this average is reset by holding the "Ok" button for a few seconds & is not related to the 2nd screen bars which have the time frame option (5, 10, 30)

The FOB programming should not reset with a battery disconnect. Something went wrong. I would check all the fuses & also try another battery disconnect, for a longer period than the first time.

There is a 3.10 version, but only to be installed through a dealer. Though there are versions circulating online, some might remove features from your car. Note that MFT version is different from the MAPs version. If you want the latest maps data, then you'll need the A8 SD Card.

Delete your phone from the car, it should delete everything related to your phone. Then re-add it.

A8 maps SD Cards have been available for some time now. Usually eBay is a cheap good source. Unless you meant an update after A8.

There is no IAC on newer vehicles since the throttle bodies changed to drive by wire systems. What might help is to clean the throttle body & check the canister purge valve.

44 psi is referring to IWRBB's F-150, not his Edge. Also, vehicles in in stock or storage sometimes have their tires' pressure increased to avoid or reduce damage due to non movement, to prevent flat spots in the tires.

Yes, I understand and agree with most of it, but in this specific case, the software is there & they don't give you any option to buy it unless you change your whole car.

The software is already there, regardless if it was enabled or not from the factory. It is simply a method of enabling it, which Ford (or at least many dealers), whether intentionally or not, convinced some customers that it can be done in the early days of MyFord Touch, but then simply refused to make it an option. By the way, there are also methods to download & copy the maps, which would be a better way than your suggestion to break into someone's car and steal their SD card causing real loss to innocent people.

As far as I know, 2011-2014 Edge Towing Package doesn't contain any additional engine oil cooler. The content only includes upgraded Radiator & Cooling Fans (in addition to the hitch, wiring harness & sway control).

Try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes & see if it helps.

With MyFord Touch, you don't need any extra hardware except for the maps SD memory card. Everything is already present.

Or you can add it for MUCH MUCH cheaper, search for ForScan mods & you'll find plenty of how to's. It would cost you the price of a maps SD Card & a compatible OBD connector.

No go. I tried 2013 20" Explorer Limited wheel (the polished option) on my 2011 MKX & they rubbed the brake calipers on the front.

This ABD edit enabled a menu in the instrument cluster to enable "Global Close" and it works, it will close the front windows, but not the sunroof/shade, by pressing & holding the lock button on the fob. Using Forscan I changed the following: 720-01-02 xxxx xXxx xxxx from "A" to "B". If you have previously disabled the fog light indicator, you'll then be changing it from "2" to "3". Credits to "sheltonfilms" from the Ford Explorer forums.

When the clips broke on my MKX, I closed the sunroof with help from 2 people, each pushing the glass from one side at the back while I held the close switch inside. The strange thing is the the vent function is still working, but if I slide it open it won't close because of the broken clip.

Unfortunately I am currently on a vacation & away from from car, hence can't see it to describe it. But it might be a 2011+ thing & therefore wouldn't be on present on your car.

@gkyates The menu option came in the redesigned models (2015+).

I am not sure if there is such an option, but there are hardware differences, HID Edges use H15 bulbs which have a low wattage filament that is used for DRL. A non-HID Edge has a 9005 high beam bulb that is of a higher wattage & thus will cause blinding to others on the road.
