If the light is on: Bad sensors. If sensors are changed and oil pump light still on worse case scenario is oil pumps most of the time do not fail. The reason for the low oil pressure may be an indication of something far more serious such as worn bearings causing the pressure to drop which means your engine has failed. A new pump will not help this situation. The easiest and cheapest way to see if your engine has damage and is failing is to sample your oil and have this analysis performed

This is how you can create quad segments for your personalization of your MFT screen and show four different photos on one screen. A really simple thing to do and just adds that extra touch LOL

Actually slotted and drilled are not recommended for either application. You won't find them on NASCARS. Also not higher carbon solid steel rotor weep heat away faster. Slotted and drilled rotors also are subject to faster rusting issues due to more permeation in the rotor and opening to allow for rust to grow. Overall resulting in short life for the rotors and pads. My own opinion but hey I only get 175K miles out of my front pads and 225K miles out of my rear pads and rotors so what do I know?

A lot of engine dip stick tubes have bends in them. You will get some oil on it. Reading the dip stick is more of an art some times than a science.

Generally you will put in more than you take out, depending on the engines consumption and number of miles driven. I think it is 5.5 quarts more or less.

Just to note: Slotted and drilled decrease surface friction. Look good but decrease your available surface for stopping. Second are the rotors High Carbon rotors or the lower class? Ceramic pads are also not all equal. My last 4 wheel job with High quality high carbon steel rotors and Full ceramic pads ran just about 400 dollars with non slotted rotors. I never go inexpensive with brakes as they are a major safety issue to be able to stop. Essentially what I am saying is if you married up soft steel with spongy cheap ceramic pads you will get this result. Also slotted and drilled rotors fail under heat conditions and cause disk fracturing. Was the bottle of brake fluid brand new or was it an old one you had sitting around? Old brake fluid can absorb water and thus create issues also.

Just to clarify. Having been through this with another vehicle. Is there fluid flow? In other words is the water pump functioning? When you loose heat intermittently or all the time then this can be a very important symptom of a failed water pump and if it is intermittent then the pump blades are slipping on the shaft and once in a while catching and spinning. I would say verify the pump has not failed. If the pump is not pumping fluid as far as pressure then the fans may not activate and cool the radiator. If this is the case then the fix is rather painful. The pump is internal to the engine and requires as they say some dis assembly.

My co worker is have similar issues with a 2011 SEL Dealer can not find the problem and Ford is not providing guidance.

Wow just wow. I would never pay for that and pay that much. Most of it is not needed. Especially with just 66k. Trans flush and that is not even mentioned and if it has not been done I would recommend changing the transmission fluid. Then radiator fluid and then brake fluid and last but not least power steering fluid. Have you changed the lift struts on the rear hatch? Might be a good idea it sounded as if it was closing hard. New lift struts might make all the difference.

Dimmer switch? That would be where I would start. and it controls a lot of lights.

Easy not so much. A fair amount of disassembly required to get to the lower intake. Hope the plugs were replaced while you had it that far. I would have.

Carfax contacted me concerning the Orange Crush and a news reporter wants to possibly hear more on the Orange Crush. The orange crush may rise from the grave.

There are companies now that will refurbish/repair PCM's cheaper than buying a new one.

video or be able to demonstrat the issues. Then it is undeniable and they will have to WORK to fix it and perform a true diagnostics which takes time and mechanics do not like to take the time to fix the issue and trace problems.

No roof rack that I know of. It is a give and take situation.

Depending but it would surely throw a CEL if the manifold was leaking.

Here it is caught the Shift to park in the act. It would not let me remote start BlueBerry at -10 below and I had to go outside and mess with the shifter to get the remote start to work.

I am guessing WWW that you would not take your transmission fluid to the 150K mile mark? I remember when I had the 2008 I never changed the power steering fluid and I am sure that the power steering was and did suffer because of that. I believe most of the people neglect the PS and Brake fluid like I have done in the past. Lessons learned.

Mileage comparison between both Edges; Blue Berry in 7 months has logged about 5,000 miles. Lullubelle has logged about 32,000 miles in 7 months. Blueberry = 714 monthly Lullubelle = 4571 monthly MOMOSHA is currently reviewing the 2016 Ford Edge as she knows once I run Lullubelle to the ground she gets a newer Edge and I get Blueberry.

I had to know what the transmission fluid looked like after just 32K miles as when I flushed it at 92K miles. After doing this last change I will be aiming for a sweet spot of about 50-60K miles. You will see in the video that even at 32K miles it is pretty dirty. The fluid was a warren oil and lubricants COASTAL Full Synthetic Multi Vehicle ATF which meets all MERCON LV requirements.

Wish I had time to replace the struts, between work (2600 miles in eight days) and Multiple birthdays and an anniversary within 14 day span. Way too much going on. Gas, change oil and go. New year is starting off with a bang. Stay warm ya all.

How do you get the cladding off? I am seriously thinking about doing this and having my rims powder coated to match my Edge color.
