If you don't mind me asking, which dealership did you buy your ST from? I brought my Sport from Pundmann in St. Charles. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience!

Heated Seats (Remote start)
onyxbfly replied to Burtman's topic in Alarms, Keyless Entry, Locks & Remote Start
When the temp is set to auto, the seats will heat or cool when I use remote start. I agree it is very convenient indeed! -
Reach out to @Xtra He is in California. He also has most if not all of the mods available for his edge. Including the catch can. I'm sure he can point you in the right direction of how you can join the cool kids catch can club!

Excellent!

Thanks for the clarification. I could not find any info on the weight of the blaque diamond wheels. I did find that the toyo tire (the one in the pic) weighs 38lbs. 38lbs (tire) + 44 (BD-11) = 82lbs per tire wheel combo. I was curious as to the difference in weight between the 22" wheel and stock 21" wheel. Also curious about how the extra 10lbs per corner would effect handling/ acceleration etc.

I'm not sure I follow you. Do you mean the weight of the tire or eight of the wheel and tire combo?

Tail light Condensation
onyxbfly replied to d0minicano's topic in Glass, Lenses, Lighting, Mirrors, Sunroof (BAMR), Wipers
If I understand the Ops post correctly. He is providing an example of how it would need to look in order for the dealer changed the lens. -

That's horrible! Disappointed in Ford enforcing such a rigid policy. No one in their right mind would ever wait for it to get that bad without having it addressed! -
As far as I am aware, there are no differences planned for the 2020 Edge ST.

Sync 3 radio scan button missing
onyxbfly replied to toast1850's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
What is different between the Lincoln theme and the Ford theme? Thanks in advance. -
That is definitely a possibility! I saw 4" to 8" screen and read Omar's reply and ran with the notion that he wants SYNC 3.

This video has a complete list of links you can follow. It also covers cost and installation. YMMV but it is certainly possible!

I reflexively hit the parking brake while my brake is engaged.

Every edge that I have ever been in seems to do that. I'm currently in a loaner 2018 escape and it does it as well.

I would call the smartlink hotline and let them tell you what dealers in your area have experience with smartlink. If you go to a random dealer you may end up paying for their learning curve. Personally I feel that the dealer charges well enough so that their techs do not need learn on your dime. If Jmr061 is close to you, that may be a viable option for you. Thanks for sharing your videos. Your videos are not only knowledgeable and helpful but they are entertaining. Sometimes I'll just have them playing in the background. Picking up lil jewels of knowledge that I file away for later use. Your personal website is a treasure trove of resources.

Glad to hear that you were successful in sourcing the label and ordering it!
-
Thats odd. My friend did not mention that at all. I'll reach out to him and see what he says. I guess if you want to order, you will have to provide a shop name and RO or PO. 1004ronPaint has a nice ring to it. ? I don't know what they will do to verify the information. I found this online. http://osborn-reproduction.com/ They reproduce labels. They don't have the label you need listed but it may yield results if you call them and ask.

My friend suggested this site. https://autodatalabels.com/

Was it a OEM replacement? If so it is odd that it doesn't have the label. If it isn't I'm sure it works just as well sans the label. I understand wanting to have the label with either way. Good Luck!
-
It would be horrible if the only way to get that label is to replace the cover.

WWW the plastic pans were replaced with metal pans on the F-150 3.5. Ford went back to metal oil pans on 2/26/18 on the F-150 3.5 Ford has not implemented a metal pan replacement for the 2.7 ecoboost engines. In theory there is nothing wrong with a composite aka "plastic oil pan" Auto manufacturers have been using them for a while now across a variety of applications. The issue is when problems occur within a specific engine model across a variety of lines. The bigger issue is when manufacturers decide to band aid it. When the TSB is followed exactly as per instructions the problems with the oil leak seem to be resolved.
