A dealer would be able to get it for using their equipment. Similar to when you lose a key.
-
Or anyone from the dealership. Or previous owner(s). Or anyone who had access to both keys (recent models). Or who peaked under the dash (older models). They should really allow it to be changed.
-
Ford's Keypad is very useful as stated above, the only drawback is that the factory code cannot be changed which is a serious risk in my opinion.

I had my 2011 MKX for ~ 6 years & ~ 70K miles. Original Tire set and one replacement set and did not have any issues with the TPMS. The manual does state that the valve stems should be replaced when installing new tires. But my tire shop did not change them. (link to Tasca Parts -315 MHz stems, for sensors with 433MHz have a different part number) Wheel and Tire assem.pdf

Dashboard instant mpg display?
omar302 replied to IcyFridge's topic in Audio, Backup, Navigation & SYNC
Never saw such a mod. Don't think it exists. Are you referring to the mpg that is shown when you are in the Fuel Economy screen with the instant fuel economy? If so, just press and hold the left "OK" button. just like how you would reset Trips 1 & 2. -
Congrats. Welcome to the forums and enjoy your new ride.

As stated above, there is no way to change to a smaller fob. As your Edge's year is not mentioned, which Fob do you have? I think they switched to the new style end of 2017. Maybe you'd prefer the other style, but both are similarly sized. The fob sizes are similar, just the number of buttons change.

It is supposed to give access to the fuse panel, but like the 2015+ models, fuse access from there is very limited. I also remember reading a member here who got a drawer from a previous model and installed instead of this cover. Just couldn't find that post. I think it was 2018 when they replaced the drawer with the cover.

In the 2019 Edge Owners Manual, it states you can can disable manual control by pressing holding the upshift (+) paddle. This seems to be something new as it wasn't mentioned in previous models and doesn't work on my 2016.

Welcome to the forums. Congratulations.

The Edge doesn't have rear climate control, the rear vents opening is connected by a duct coming from the front. So no separate control is possible.

I assume you have Sync 3. Use the screen to change the flow direction. See the below video at 1:33 mark:

The same transmission (6F55) was also used on the Police Interceptor Utility with the 3.5L Ecoboost. A heavier vehicle with a bigger and higher output engine in more sever duty. As @Xtra stated above, it can handle a lot more than the stock Edge Sport. Also, it has been used since the 2010 Taurus SHO and MKS Ecoboost, you'll find a lot of modded Tauruses and MKS'.

Welcome & congratulations. @1004ron, and the interior. Stitched Leather lined dashboard and door panels. Quilted leather seats. Fully Carpeted cargo area (+ side panels). Fog lights. Adaptive LED Headlights. And a Diesel.

Good comparison, but if my fridge double honked a loud horn I'd definitely throw it out. The problem with Ford's implementation is their extremely annoying loud noise. And it does it on all doors. The other day a guy in an Escape got out while the engine is running and it double honked. He opened the rear door to let his young daughter out, double honk. Get stuff out the lift gate, double honk. Others, at least Nissan & Toyota from my experience, use a softer beeping tone that doesn't wake up the neighborhood or puts you in an awkward position with others thinking your honking on them. Though with the newer Ford's and their cost cutting single horns I imagine it would be less annoying.

I noticed the same thing when reading info released on the ST. Felt like they ignored that the Sport ever existed and did not state what exact improvements where made compared to the Sport. Thanks for the feedback. Also, did you have the 21" or 20" wheels on the Sport?

Congratulations on the new ST. Tell us more on the 2016 Sport vs 2019 ST differences please.
