  1. On newer models unfortunately there is no "Gallons used" in the trip info and I haven't seen any way of enabling it, even though the info is available in Engineering mode (link to how to enter Engineering Mode). For the fuel consumption (mpg) inaccuracy, there is a workaround detailed in this post:
  2. I'll just link this post here for anyone with a 2015+ Edge interested in upgrading their cluster.
  3. It is very expensive, however I have doubts on their claims as the images/videos they show appear to be for the stock 10" display from the MKX/MKZ (already being retrofitted to Fusions/Edges) with a modified inner mask (under the lens) and firmware already available. See below video sample. Also, not sure they will be able to get that same cluster to work on older vehicles (2011-2014 Edge, 2011-2015 Explorer, pre 2013 Fusion) due to the different vehicle electrical architectures.
  4. Thanks @Haz for your usual detailed reply. Reading you reply had me wondering what the evaporator assembly housing looks like (P/N: K2GZ-19B555-BG), so I found a few on sale on eBay (example 1, example 2) and it sure seems there is a drain location built into the assembly housing, just apparently it would drain directly without going through a "drain pipe or hose", hence the no-part available for it. Also from the pictures it seems to be located below the heater inlet/outlet pipes. Have attached photos with arrows pointing to where I think it is. Will try to search again in below the heater pipes. My doubt is that the water drips on to the exhaust/catalyst heat shield, then is absorbed in to it and evaporates before dripping. The P/N of the housing is the same for 2015-2021 Edge and 2016-2020 MKX/Nautilus. Can anyone confirm if their Edge/MKX/Nautilus from those years drips water from the A/C?
  5. As per my understanding, the recall is to replace the bushing with a new one made of a different material and install a protective cap so it does not deteriorate and cause the roll away risk. So they will replace the bushing under this recall if if the current one is not currently damaged.
  6. I don't have experience, however this PDF (same one from my post above) has photos of the procedure. Just need to remove the intake air filter box.
  7. Does the Gen2 Edge have an A/C water Drain location? I don't see water dripping even though it is quite humid nowadays. Also couldn't find a drain pipe looking under the vehicle. I want to check for blockage as I am getting a slight mildew smell sometimes when the A/C starts blowing, however all the carpet inside is dry. My other car, the MKS, drips large puddles of water, as does most vehicles I see on the road.
  8. Did you drive the vehicle? if not, drive it for 10 minutes or so to see if it fixes it. Also try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
  9. Did the vehicle read the sensors automatically and show correct tire pressures or was there a procedure performed?
  10. Hi Haz, I was surfing on NHTSA site and found the letter dated July 5th, 2022 to dealer (link). However, the part numbers in Attachment II of the letter are gibberish. Where the Part Numbers released?
  11. This is for my 2016 Edge Sport: From Motorcraft ABD site: From ForScan (also abt file attached): 2FMPK4AP9GBB98478_PCM_20220310_144949.abt

  13. I understand this and have not read anything to the contrary, however, in my testing it seems the Edge will "Auto learn" the tire positions. I previously made a short video showing it. Link to post.
  14. The liftgate will always open with the fob. To test if it is locked, lock the doors and keep the fob away from the vehicle, few meters away, the try to open the liftgate with button above the license plate, it should not open if it is locked.
  15. I don't think it is easy to determine which size you have by description only. If you want to confirm which size online, your best bet, in my opinion, is to check with a seller who will confirm if the rotors you intend to purchase are a correct fit by VIN.
  16. 22 Edge has Sync 4A, I don't believe adding NAV is similar to Sync 3, at lease have not seen it done yet. However, Sync 4A should have Android Auto and Apple Car Play, they should be even better than the factory NAV.
  17. I remember when people complained when it DID reset. Mine was like that until a Firmware update to the FCIM made the heated and cooled seats remember the last position. Seems it is a feature not liked by all. They should make it user selectable.
  18. Probably a software bug. Something similar happened several years ago when ambient lights would revert to the default color every few days, the fix was a software update to the then MyFord Touch (Sync 2) center screen. It is better to report it so that Ford becomes aware of it.
  19. Short answer, no. On GEN 2 Edge models, headlights are 2 bulbs on each side, HID models use the inner bulb (closer to the grille) for a dedicated DRL function. It uses an H15 bulb (a dual filament bulb) but only the 15 watt DRL is connected. Halogen equipped models use separate low/high beam bulbs and the DRL is the low beam. The only ForScan mods I have related to DRLs on my Edge are to enable the menu option in the cluster to turn DRL on or off, like the stock US setup for GEN2 Edges. My Edge being a GCC export market model was setup to have forced DRL always on when the conditions are right (headlights off, transmission not in Park).
  20. Hi @kc300c, Any plans to offer an LED DRL Kit for the 2015-2018 Edges? Similar to the kits offered for the 2011-2014 models? Thanks.
  21. Thanks again @Haz The non-working interior switches might be due to the "Inhibit Switches" function I had enabled using ForScan that is supposed to disable the interior switched when locked. I have now disabled it to see/test if the issue happens again. Yes. There was no cluster messages. Completely blank. I just made a test (normal condition) to enter my vehicle using the keypad only (keyfob away from vehicle) and it would show the mileage in the cluster once the driver door is open. Pressing the ignition start button (keyfob still away) will get a "No Key Detected" message in the cluster. When the issue was happening, the start button was not flashing. Next time the issue happens, I'll try to connect the OBDLink MX OBD adapter and see if can get any readings. Also I'll try tapping on the relays/fuse boxes to see if it makes a difference before disconnecting the battery. Visually, the relays look ok. Also, between the first time the issue happened, till the last times, the battery has been replaced, so that is out of the equation.
  22. Thank you @Haz. I feel that the code(s) I got are symptoms only, probably due to the battery disconnection. I went through the attached documents, but I couldn't find a link on what might cause the ignition power to be dead, completely, with no response in the IPC (no warnings or anything), the remote keyfob not responding to any commands, not even if inserted into the backup slot. Yet, the keypad on the outside still worked and opened the door. The horn also worked. The slight disconnection of the battery for a few seconds was sufficient to bring every back to life again. Makes me feel like a stuck relay, but did not find any relay that controls the dead functions only while keeping the others running.
