  1. There has never been an option for power fold mirrors for that Edge generation.
  2. I eventually got a locally made H6 battery. Half the price of MotorCraft's BXT65.
  3. If I'm not mistaken, the previous generation issues were from the PTU. RDU failures are rare. As for @JGN12 point on maximum maintenance life, comparing vehicles (Ford) to other complex systems (including aeronautical), the difference lies, in my opinion, in designed service life. Planes & helicopters I believe are designed to serve a much longer life than automobiles.
  4. Looking how Ford's oil is specific to this application, I wouldn't recommend using a "regular" gear oil in its place. Link to Motorcraft page for this oil. It also states "Do not use in conventional high-offset hypoid gear axles where SAE 75W-85, 75W-90, 80W-90 or 75W-140 is recommended".
  5. Only the automatic wipers. The only warnings I would get are for the parking sensors.
  6. So, I got some screenshots from ForScan to show where to program the rear Axle Code (Automatic Torque Coupling (ATC) Configuration). It is under PCM "Module Configuration".
  7. There is no extensive sheet for the Edge, only some personal (small) sheets and mods all over this thread (edit: and this thread). However, the 2015-2020 F-150, 2016-2019 Explorer and 2013+ Fusion sheets are mostly applicable to 2015+ Edges. Though I am not sure for newer Edges with Sync4A if it is still applies or not.
  8. Thanks. However, the title should be changed to 2014 as the 2015 Edge is completely different. The 2015 MKX is similar though.
  9. @1004ron posted a link to buy them from Amazon. Also, I was able to find it on TascaParts (link).
  10. For the 2015 to 2018 Edge models: 2.0 got 6F35 3.5 got 6F50 2.7 got 6F55
  11. Further to @Odrapnew post above, my Edge also "auto learned" the sensor positions. I made post about it here with a video showing it in action after a tire rotation.
  12. In a US Edge, to get the DRL to turn on, you have to have them enabled in the settings menu in the cluster, headlight switch should on auto, and transmission shift lever out of Park.
  13. You are quoting a post from 2017! 2015-2018 Edges with factory HID have H15 bulbs on the inboard that function as DRL lights only. H15 is a dual filament bulb designed as DRL for the low wattage filament and High beams for the high wattage filament, the Edge (with factory HID) only utilize's the low voltage filament, DRL. There is no wiring connected to the high wattage filament.
  14. I recently got the same for our 2015 MKS (didn't try them on the Edge yet), same DS3 35000LM CANBUS. They claim they are 6500K (color) and i tend to beleive them because they have this "too white" color and as if it is starting to fade to blue. I personally didn't like the color, they are brighter, but the color makes me feel the brighter light is less utilized in actually illuminating black asphalt (if that is a thing). Wish I went with the 4300K. I would have preferred 5000K to 5500K color. See this comparison (link to site)
  15. That mod is done on 2015+ F-150 models with the 8" IPC. Not possible on the Edge. You can use an OBD2 Reader and an app to read the temperature, or enter Engineering Mode in the IPC.
  16. +1 You can get OEM online like this: https://www.fordpartsgiant.com/parts/ford-lamp-asy-luggage-c_da5z-13776-a.html Or search cheaper non OEM using the part number DA5Z-13776-A
  17. Installed LED Turn signal bulbs. Purchased from Amazon (link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q8RZRZV). Thanks to the recommendation from @enigma-2 from another post recently. These are the first LED bulbs I found for the Edge that are actually brighter than stock. Also they do not hyperflash. However, with parking lights on, they are too bright and hence when turning on the turn the turn signal they become a bit brighter. This makes the turn signals not easily distinguishable. I had disabled the parking light function using ForScan and for me they only function as turn signals. The Edge still has the signature lights in the bumper to function as parking lights. This issue is from Ford using a single filament bulb (the 7440) and applying 5V power as "parking light" and then 12V power for "turn signal". This does not seem to go well with LEDs. The seller also stated "7440 LED bulbs (not 7443 bulbs) are used as turn signal lights ONLY. " The ForScan changes were: 726-29-02 xxx* xxxx xxxx 0=Turn Only 1=Turn & Parking/Position (default for 2015-2018 Edge).
  18. That's not applicable to newer Ford models. Old keys/Fobs have to be erased. The process is to erase all keys and then program the required ones, minimum of two. AFAIK.
  19. If I recall correctly, the MyKey menu does show the number of programmed keys. You can use that screen to check how many are programmed and show it to the dealer or locksmith to explain you only need the two you have in hand and delete the rest. I would also suggest you later add the 3rd one yourself so you do not get charged for adding it by them. Edit: I also also agree that $300 is a lot. The programming process should take less than an hour.
  20. Does it change if you open a front door? If yes, then I'd still guess it is from the ANC.
  21. In addition to all the other suggestions, disconnecting the car's battery for approximately 10 minutes can sort some electronic gremlins by resetting them.
  22. You can also get the keypad code using ForScan with a compatible OBD adapter, if you are into using it.
  23. The 2011 Edge did not have the white lines. I believe the feature is not available on 2011-2014 Edges because they had hydraulic power steering (not electric) and there was no "auto park" option available.
