Just repair the flex and if you want a bit more noise delete the resonator
-
Starting (no pun intended) to appear like an ignition switch failure.
-
Following because i am interesting in finding out if it is parts failure or installation error. Great learning experience.

after 110K yeah go with your thoughts on this one.

I will in the near future. Spent a lot of time and money making the oil series videos for my channel. The series will be complete by the 2nd week of April with a full summary of all the oils tested and gear lubes tested. Frequency is VERY important.
-
I have done a fair amount of Gear lube testing and think I have found the best Gear lube to use with the PTU. Frequency of change is the key to longevity plus the extra amount of capacity that has been added to the PTU are the slight improvements with the addition of a drain plug to facilitate fluid changes. The PTU should be able to handle up to about 500hp. The newer PTU's have had some additional internal adjustments but heat is still the enemy of the lubricants.

Nothing major but my drivers side HID head light has stopped working. I installed the aftermarket HID less than 2 years ago and it has failed. Time to see if the warranty will be honor and get the light working again.
-
You sure you did not hook the lines up wrong?
-
My 2008 Edge with the 3.5 would chirp the tires in 2nd with the traction control turned off.
-
Funny he only checked on plug and replaced on. Did not check the others. so now you have one new plug and three worn plugs. ecoboost require more frequent plug replacement due to the demands placed on them
-
Time to get a scanner and perform diagnostics.
-
I have other videos stating just what you said. This video was only for the acceleration display and difference. No harm. You should see what people say on the YT channel!!!

2013 Edge Limited SMOOTHEST riding tire recommendations in 2018?
macbwt replied to enigmakv's topic in Wheels & Tires
Ran both the Ecopia and now the Michelin Premier LTX. Hands down I will go with the Michelin Premier LTX over the bridgestones. I ran many sets of the Bridgestones. Michelin Premier has the wet and dry traction that you need. -
Might be because you took the fuse out. Put it back in and then figure out what has failed by running a scan and diagnostic.

I have no real idea, but I do see the components are a bit beefier than the 1st gen. I think IMO Ford made slight changes.

Really?

Go with the SCT tune for 91 octane. You should be happy with the performance gain/per dollar invested.

KYB sells a quick strut for the Edge now. I would go with the KYB as I plan on doing this with my 2011 soon.

The first gen 2007 through about 2009 but mostly 07 and 08 are hungry for wheel bearings. Ford has since figured out the issue and my 1.5 has been very gentle on wheel bearings so far. Only had to replace the rears since one went out. I am still using the fronts at 230,000 miles so far no issues.
