Has the transmission fluid ever been changed on your Edge? That is a vital service, and considering the (relatively) low mileage on your Edge, should really be changed under the Special Operating Conditions schedule. Even under Normal Operating Conditions, the Ford stated schedule is way overly optimistic, unless you drive 99% highway (maybe). That's where I would start. What about spark plugs, coils and PCV valve? Many transmission issues actually are due to misfires or a poorly running engine and a dirty MAF sensor/throttle body. Once the engine maintenance is brought up to date (much cheaper to start there), then we can start attacking possible trans issues. Since the "putter" is around the area of torque converter lockup, that could be an issue. Or it could be a bad wheel bearing, though usually there is noticeable drag/noise accompanying it. Speaking of which, check the brakes as well. The rears are especially prone to sticking if not lubricated regularly.

Does the Note 4 charge at a good rate with the combo of a non Samsung charger and non Samsung cable? I assume you have already tried charging in the Edge with the OEM Samsung cable? Is the Sync version uptodate? What is the production date of your Edge? Early in the 2016MY or ...?

What pads do you have on there now, Mirage? They should be ok to transfer to the new rotors, assuming they have been worn in evenly and are defect-free. Just would need to re-bed them to the new rotors for best braking.

They have oiled filters (just like K&N does) and dryflow filters (completely washable w soap & water or their cleaner). From my understanding the dryflow filters were developed by K&N to be sold by AEM, not sure if that is the case with aFe also.

You are SURE there is no overfilling, right? That will cause the fluid to foam and spew out the vent. The correct fill level for 2007 is about a 1/4 inch below the lowest point of the fill plug. I believe you remove the existing jiggle vent, and press fit the new vent fitting instead. Best to leave the options alone, don't fine tune the tune. That's what you paid Torrie for. Once you have loaded the tune, it has flashed the PCM, so it will take a little bit for the PCM to relearn. After that, you can create some datalogs for Torrie to look at if you want. Torrie can check to see if there is room for improvement and/or address any specific issues you discover.

When you say "Ford", Gimp, I assume you meant a dealership? I am going to suggest the obvious: try another dealership, preferably a Lincoln dealership with experienced service techs. Get Ford engineering involved, you do have to ask the dealership to request it tho. The most common boost leak problem has indeed been with loose hoses because Ford in its' wisdom does not clamp all of them on some engines. But it could be a torn seal on a wastgate, or a broken spring therein. obviously the boost leak has not gotten large enough to set a code, but it would be pretty big by then and easy to locate.
