  1. Just yesterday @threeputtpar posted here his guide.
  2. March 01 update for the 2016 Edge Order Guide & Feb 17 updated for the "Color - Upholstery - Wheel Guide" attached. 2016 Edge Order Guide - 01-Mar-2016.pdf 2016 Edge Color - Upholstery - Wheel Guide - 17-Feb-2016.pdf
  3. This reminds me, thanks @WWWPerfA_ZN0W & @george3359, I got the head cover replaced, under the standard bumper to bumper warranty since my MKX was still under it, at the time. @Tom Maiello, it is definitely covered under the basic bumper to bumper warranty, but I believe that also the extended drivetrain should cover it since "Valve Covers" is mentioned under the Engine components covered by it.
  4. Mac, noticed in the road force balance, "LT tires" was selected, aren't the Edge's tires passenger "P" tires? Wouldn't that affect the balancing?
  5. Not sure about a fuse doing a trick, but if you want the circuit/wires responsible, check this post.
  6. Arabski, I just remembered, in 2013 or 2014, the panel was changed to have a physical button for the hazard lights (flashers), earlierm Odell had a capacetive (touch) button. Make sure you get the newer one. Also, before changing the part, I suggest you remove it & see if the circuit at the back might be out of position which is causing it not to work. Maybe it can be fixed.
  7. Please also post pictures from a distance to show how the Edge now looks.
  8. The AWD (4WD) system of the 2017 is probably the same as the 2016. Between the Edge & the Escape, the AWD system should not be a factor for choosing 1 over the other, both probably have the same all wheel drive capabilities. The Explorer, on the other hand, even though it doesn't have a true 4WD system, it does have a the terrain management system, which is software based, but will help in certain situation better than a AWD vehicle without it.
  9. The fans would be the culprit if the A/C blows cold while moving, but cooling reduces when stopped or at low speeds. If the A/C is not cooling at any speed, then it is something else (regardless if the fans are ok or not). Just a reminder as it is often overlooked, did you check/replace the cabin air filter behind the glove box? It will affect the performance of the A/C if it is old or clogged.
  10. I think that's the radio/center bezel. #14 in the diagram here. You can find it used on eBay. Just search for "07 Edge radio bezel".
  11. Even for my 2011 MKX I get the same message, so it doesn't really mean your Edge's window stick wasn't generated. Ford apparently changed their policy to access the window stickers.
  12. I wouldn't mess with that area as it is already optimised for proper air flow into the condenser/radiator and aerodynamics. Also some models have active grille shutters in the same area. I remember for the 2011+ MKX already, there are two different parts for the support behind the grille (the black mesh piece with holes in it) for tow & non-tow models, again confirming the airflow dynamics. Edit: the parts can be seen here.
  13. The surge on regular fuel compared to premium could also be explained that on regular the PCM detected engine knock and thus retarded the ignition (I think that's the term) which lead to increased rpm to compensate for reduced engine power. While with premium, engine knocking wasn't present & hence no change in power & rpm.
  14. @jmr061, a member here can do it. Check his website: http://www.fordpimods.com/hd-radio.html
  15. Yes, it is normal. On unlock, you don't get sound notification. On lock, 1 press will not give any sound. If you press the lock button twice, it will give 1 horn chirp of all doors/liftgate are closed or 2 chirps is any door/liftgate are open.
  16. If it were due to the looks, they could have easily come up with a removable cover, similar to the Factory hitch on 2011+ Explorers. Fact is, there is no official reason why the Towing Package isn't available on the 2015+ Edge Sport. It could be Aesthetics or due to the "Sport tuned" suspension, or simply a marketing strategy.
  17. I cant help in regards to how much to fill except the capacity stated in the owners manual (12 ounces), but I would suggest you drive the car between refills to make sure the new oil mixes with the old to try to get most of the old oil out.
  18. From the owners manual, your supposed to get a low fuel warning. Till what distance to empty did you reach before you refueled? Ford's usual low fuel warning comes in at 50 miles to empty.
  19. Make sure your on the latest update MyFord Touch (Sync). If your not on the latest, 1st update it then if it doesn't work, then a trip to the dealer might be necessary.
  20. There is no official reason why the Towing packaging is not available on the Sport, even though the same engine/trans & chassis are available with the tow package on the Lincoln MKX. But in any case, the Sport can still tow up to 2000lbs without the tow package, though you'll have to buy/install an aftermarket hitch. Few members on the forum already did it.
