  1. I suggest if you can use ForScan to see if any DTCs are present for the RGTM module after doing a RGTM Self test.
  2. When I had my 2011 and the AC gas was low, the driver side would lose cooling while passenger side was ok. Once gas leaked more, both sides would lose cooling. So maybe that is also your issue, low AC gas.
  3. Another firmware update was dated 03-Jun-2020. "This release fixed a serious bug: Fixed lack of ability to transmit after CAN ERROR"
  4. Seems this code has to do with wiring, and since as per the description it was detected previously (i.e. not currently present), it is most probably due to unplugging the cable. Just reset it and see if it comes back again after sometime.
  5. Did you install a relay and wire the HIDs to the battery or used only the stock wiring? I remember reading that such issues are only resolved by using a relay. Hopefully someone with better info will help.
  6. Depending on where you are, there are shipping companies that make ordering from the US very easy. Like Shopandship.com, they would give you a virtual address in the US (and other cities worldwide) and your transaction with the seller would be like a normal domestic purchase, then Shopandship would take care of shipping it to you. There rates are usually less than what the seller gives you. Also, at least here, in many cases it would also be cheaper than the local dealer's price.
  7. The 2.7L in the F-150 also has the same issue. Ford updated the Oil Pans to a design with a "press in place gasket", but as far as I know this only applies for 2018+ models as the Oil pans are not interchangeable with 2015-2017 models. So hope that Ford releases a similar redesigned replacement for 2015-207 models. The newer TSBs ("NHTSA link for F-150" & "NHTSA link for the Edge") mention the replacement Oil Pans. Also for the Edge the procedure seems much simpler than before, though it still depends on the detailed procedures in the Workshop Service Manuals.
  8. Thanks for trying and informing me. Seems I have something wrong. Will have to do some investigating.
  9. New Firmware has been released for most of OBDLink's adapters. "This release fixed a serious bug: Fixed FATAL ERROR when using multi-frame reception on CAN".
  10. Working in Purchasing, I concur with @handfiler. Though I am not in Canada, but the concept is similar. When clearing goods you pay for several items. One of those items is "Customs Duty" and in some cases there would be no "Customs Duty" but you'd still pay for the other charges. See this link to Canada Border Services Agency Duty & Taxes Estimator shows "0" Duty charges in case you select an Automotive part made in a NAFTA country (Canada, the United States and Mexico). Also if you select "Electronic & Media" (Tablets/E-Readers, Phones or Computers), the Duty is also "0" regardless of NAFTA origin or not.
  11. May I ask if you could please check this scenario? With the engine running and doors closed, lock the doors. Then turn off the engine and open the driver's door only (without pressing the unlock button so the other doors are still locked, red LEDs would be on), does the tailgate button on the dash still work? Thanks.
  12. Update: I have updated the firmware on my OBDLink MX Bluetooth (not MX+) & OBDLink EX to the latest versions using the OBDLink Android App and both are working fine. So it seems only the MX+ has issues as faced by @Gadgetjq.
  13. It is called a Pull Handle. Part# FT4Z-5831458-AA.
  14. Just wanted to check if this is normal, I noticed that in my 2016 Edge Sport, the tailgate button in the dash panel (next to the headlight knob) stops working as soon as I shut off the engine regardless of door lock status. If the door unlock button is pressed then it works again. If the engine was running the switch works.
  15. Thanks for the heads up. Note: you can also update using your phone with the OBDLink app (at least on the Android app). Settings>Firmware upgrade. The app would download it for you and flash it directly.
  16. Could be as stated above. Another thought, you mentioned that you replaced the "top side bulbs", meaning you kept the lower bulbs stock? Maybe that's what is messing it up, having two types of bulbs in the same electrical circuit.
  17. There is no stock alarm with a shock sensor on the Edge, as far as I know. It is probably an add on. If it is, you'll need to find out how to reduce the sensitivity. The Ford Accessories add on would have a knob to change the sensitivity. The instructions for a 2015-2018 Edge would have the module strapped behind the steering column and could be accessed from the fuse panel door (near where the driver's left knee would be).
  18. Smart idea. But I found out that today's giant smartphones can still be put in the door handle area and they won't fall because of their length.

    New ST-Line

The whole 1st Gen Edge Sport was mostly appearance trim. The significant performance upgrade of the Edge Sport/ST only started in 2015.
  20. Hope for the best for future. The Palisade seems a really nice ride. Hope you enjoy and it serves you for many years & miles.
  21. Ford now sells their switch separately (link) (without the whole shifter). This was part of TSB 17- 2219 (link).
  22. It is for when the fob's battery is dead and the vehicle is not able to get a signal. You put the fob there and it will pickup the fob's signal in order to start the engine. Even if the fob's battery was removed you can still start the engine if the fob is placed there.
