  1. I believe the Freelander is the LR2, it does have a 2.0L Turbo engine: https://www.landrovermerriamparts.com/parts/2013/Land%20Rover/LR2/HSE?siteid=215719&vehicleid=392611&diagram=7121224
  2. Thanks enigma, thought about that, but the Edge's 20" & 21" wheels are completely different designs. Tire wise, since they have different models, they have the same weight (34 lbs). The 21" tire in the Edge's size should be heavier, but the Perelli Scorpion Verde All Season 21" actually ways the same as the Hankook Ventus S1 Nobble2 20". The Pirrelli in 20" weighs 32 lbs.
  3. Out of curiosity, anyone weighed the Sport 20" & 21" wheels/tires? Are the 21" heavier?
  4. I'd say the best way to be sure is to check the Edge you want your self. I believe the drain plug is only on Sport models, but not sure. Still, the PTU oil can still be changed even without a drain plug.
  5. So they are dim with parking light on & flash brighter when the signals are turned on with parking? Do you thing they are as bright as the stocks or brighter? My experience with LED signal bulbs (Zevos) was not good, they were dimmer than stock and not good in day time. Can you post the link to the ones you had? Thanks.
  6. Jason, how do the park lights work at night? Are they dimmer than the signals? Also, when the signal is turned on, does it flash on-off at night? Or changes brightness (bright-dim)? I am asking because I noticed that the stock bulb is a single filament, and in stock form, the park/signal brightness is controlled by changing the supplied voltage (or something like that), so was wondering if with LEDs it works fine or not.
  7. Congratulations. What an adventure. Hope you enjoy your ride for many years to come. Regarding the grabby brakes on the 15, there is a TSB to fix the issue.
  8. Ok, tried it & it works on the 2016 Edge Sport with Adaptive Cruise Control, though not really useful. Distance Alert in Action: Enable/Disable in IPC:
  9. Old thread, but just in case the issue was not resolved for you, I have 2 suggestions: 1- Check that the bulb is correctly seated. 2- Loosen the bolts holding the headlight on the top & try to tilt the headlight a bit to the direction you want, especially from the bolt on the grille side. The holes for the bolts allow slight movement so it might give you a little horizontal adjustment.
  10. A new switch is now available from Ford to fix the issue, it is more expensive than the solution in the OP.
  11. I just found TSB 17-2219 which supersedes TSB 15-0047, the main thing here is the availability of a Shifter Kit switch to fix this problem. The kit for the 2011-2014 Edge is GT4Z-3F988-B and costs only $16.23. That is a big a difference compared to changing the complete shifter. TSB 17-2219 Shifter not in Park.pdf
  12. akirby, the Grille reinforcements I posted were only for the MKX. The Edge (2011-2014) have only 1 part number, so it would seem they are the same whether Tow Package equipped or not. But your point still stands that there might be more to a factory Tow Package than what is listed in the Towing Guide and it is not a simple difference.
  13. Old thread I know, but I recently found out that the Edge Sport in GCC spec is rated @ 340PS & 542 Nm which are converted to 335BHp & 400 lb.f. Link to Ford's Middle East site for the Edge: https://www.me.ford.com/en/omn/suvs/edge/features/performance/
  14. What you have looks like the 400a equipment group with the Technology package. Was the window sticker still on the window when you saw it? If not, maybe the dealer showed you one for another Edge.
  15. Attached are what I found here. Hope they will be helpful. 111.pdf 222.pdf 333.pdf
  16. The attached image shows the difference in the grille reinforcement for the 2011-2015 Lincoln MKX differs based on the Tow Package availability. You can see how with the Tow Package the reinforcement has 5 slots for air flow to the radiator per side, while without the Tow Package it only has 3 per side. This was not mentioned in any Tow Guide as a difference. I mean to show this as an example of changes that are not apparent between vehicles factory equipped with Tow Packages compared to those without the Tow Package.
  17. 401A does include HID & Cooled seats. Are you sure you have the 401A package?
  18. This would be useful in case of screen blackout, from the 2016 Edge Owners manual for Sync 3:
  19. I have seen this in some forum sometime ago but couldn't find it. So after searching I was able to finally find it, it is a way to restart/reboot the MyFord Touch Screen (Sync 2). It is mentioned in the Owners Manual for the 2016 Explorer (I remeber it did NOT work on the 2011 MKX, but it does work on the 2016 Edge with MFT, yes, Sync 2): It is also mentioned in the 2016 Edge Owners manual for Sync 3:
  20. I have heard of the opposite, people wanting to install a mirror with the convex spot mirror. If you really don't want them, I think you might have 2 options: 1) Install the OEM mirror glass for one with BLIS system as it does not have the convex portion, but it does have a small dot that illuminates in vehicles with BLIS from the factory, but the dot will not of course work in your Edge. 2) Install aftermarket glass for BLIS that would be glued on the stock mirror glass plastic back.
  21. 1 more question, anyone tried this if it works on the Edge? I got it from the 2015 F150 sheet and was discussed in the Fusion forum, but no report if it works or not.
