  1. The Sport/ST are a blast in the snow with snow tires! Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forums!
  2. Welcome to the forum! the edge is a capable CUV when set up right. With the 2.7TT and some hardwork and love, we keep up with C5 vettes in acceleration and on the tail.....we also and average 22mpg on e50 and 26mpg on 93! if you would like any help or input feel free to reach out to @snmjim and I!
  3. Welcome to the forum! we look forward to seeing your name pop up!
  4. Not too much i can recommend on the 2.0T as @snmjim and i are kinda the 2.7TT guru. The edge is good over all platform, and all suspension components are cross compatible between all the Gen 2 edges. So if you would like to enjoy the back roads a bit i would highly recommend the H&R springs and the rear Addco sway bar. Will really lock down the car and stop the swaying and wondering feel of the edge. Will make it feel light on it feet ? As for driving and maintenance recommendations..... ENJOY IT! just put good full synthetic oil in (you could always run Brotella 5w-40 which is what i have ran in all my turbo cars with wonderful results). Welcome and enjoy!
  5. Should treat you pretty good for some time to come! Welcome and enjoy!

  12. wait.......there is an escape ST!?
  13. Welcome! she will do great in the snow with some snow tires!
  14. Would agree with these two fine folks. ours has proven to be very durable....even through a grease debacle, cleaned right up.
  15. i hope you both realize the main reason for the increased handling is the dedicated sub 350 wear summer tires that ford put on there....... put the same tire on the sport and it would literally do the same thing with a bit less rebound control due to the ever so slightly stiffer mono-tube shocks.
  16. Here let me break this down for you bud. We run a 285 in 9.75 wide wheel, and we have room on both sides of the wheel for more width (about a 305~315). Now to get to your main question, will your 265/50/20 fit on the stock 20x8 wheel. YES, HOWEVER...... (there is always a however) the sidewall will bulge a good bit. The implication of this bulge is wondering on the road when there are ruts, a mushy ride, disconnected feel of the steering wheel to the car, and overall numbness. The worse possible outcome is the tires sidewall rolling excessively when in an extreme maneuver and de-beading from the wheel (P.S. - this all comes from experience and not here say). For a 20x8 the widest i recommend is a 255, but a 245 is a square setup and will feel the best. Hope this helps.
  17. Ight man, also mpg increase comes with a tune btw ? enjoy your edge!
  18. call ford, give them your VIN and they will tell you. Welcome to the forums btw
