    • Turning it counter-clock most likely caused it to jump valve timing - does it turn clockwise using a wrench?   I expect you'll need to pull the timing covers and re-time the cams.
    • My power steering belt snapped. So I took the power steering belt off, and the serpentine belt, tried to replace the powersteering belt but that’s the hard part could’nt do it, I put the old serpentine belt back on, but then I came across an issue. When then to replace the powersteering belt i cranked the crankshaft counter cloxkwise a little until I heard it crank 3 times then after putting the serpentine belt back on I tried to start the car but it wouldn’t turn. I believe the car went into anti theft system mode. I tried hard resetting it by disconnecting the battery and trying the key fob but all of those did not work       .
    • Keen to hear how the new style works for you.   BTW, I have a new spare which I haven't had the need to use because the original is still working perfectly with 116K on the clock.
    • Looks like my turn to put the useful posts above to good use.   About a week ago my 2017 started having a bad image with fluttering noise when I backed out my garage and then when I arrive at work it would be fine and when leaving work it would be fine - an intermittent issue which usually occurs the first time its used in the mornings.   I'm suspecting a bad connection so I'll pull the covers off and inspect connectors and add dielectric grease where needed, and search for moisture ingress - if all that fails I'll look at a replacement camera.
    • Getting ready to change the oil on my 22ST and have used the previous drain plug a couple of times.  I read somewhere that you should get a new one each time, so I went to the dealer.  They handed me this plug in a plastic package that looked completely different in that it was way longer, maybe 3/4 inch.  They told me it was a new replacement for the old one because "they had problems with the old one."  Not only is it longer, but it has 2 O-rings instead of just one.  Guess I will find out tomorrow when I change it.     The new one is part number ML3Z-6730-A.  The old part was KX6Z-6730-B.  Photo attached.  Old one is on the left.
    • Not sure if anyone else has posted this story up, but just in case not, here it is. https://www.jalopnik.com/1920343/honest-mechanic-finds-returns-wallet-lost-in-ford-edge-by-autoworker/
    • You may find a few other code readers capable of clearing the codes - Forscan and Forscan Lite will clear the codes.
    • Thanks for the information in this thread, to both @Haz & @Gnerffed. My 2019 edge SEL has codes c0095-19 & c0095-71 which seems to pinpoint the RDU actuator motor failure. As a precaution, I changed both the PTU & RDU gear oil but I 'm unable to fully clear the AWD codes, as suggested, to perform the drive cycle test...I have the Bluedriver scan tool which gives me the option to clear AWD module codes but both the gauge cluster light & trouble codes remain.    Question: @Gnerffed & @Haz..do I have to use Forscan to clear the AWD module codes?    I picked up a new actuator motor, part # K2GZ-4C210-C, from the local dealer for just $180ish and am prepared to swap it out but wondering if you can provide any additional insight before I dive in. Thanks to everyone!   p.s...while the car was on all four jackstands, after replacing the PTU/RDU fluids I put the car in gear to reverse/accelerate so I could hear if the RDU was crunching which threw all sorts of codes/dashlights! They all went away eventually!
    • First try re-regestering all four tires and see if that corrects it.   Also, how old is your car? These sending units are powered by batteries and run down (I've had this happen to me.) When the batteries get worn down, they drop out for a while, then come back.   Est. life is 10 years, but there's no guarantee. Heat is one of the most common factors on early failure.
    • Can't answer your question, too many variables. But I did look up this tire size on Tire Rack and it issued this caution.    Tread patterns must often be tuned to accommodate different tire widths. While tires shipped will match your order's specifications, photos used only represent typical sizes.   I have no idea as to what this means. But if i were you, I'd call them and discuss your plans (plus they're one of the best to buy from.)   There are a lot of factors that go into tire size, geometry, suspension loading, shocks & struts,  AdvanceTrec, etc.    Plus your new diameter will be off by 2.8%, and the new size should be recorded in the BCM.
