Battery drains in two days with just a 0.090mA draw. Pulled the DLC fuse yesterday and it dropped to 0.45mV. None of the other fuses or relays did anything. Other things happening, getting a tpms sensor fault and the rear hatch open button sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Replaced the old open button because it was doing the same thing. The battery is less than two years old and checked out ok with a load test. If I can I’ll post some pictures of an alternator ac ripple test with a labscope. Doesn’t look so good to me but see what you all think.

My 2024 has the cooler, and I used the suction method to get the fluid out. I wanted to remove the cooler but the studs to remove it are basically impossible to get a socket or wrench on so I gave up. -

My 2020 Edge ST with 68,xxx miles began to make an inconsistent vibration sound, not feel, from the rear of the vehicle when I made a slow turn to the right from a stop. I researched potential causes and ruled out everything except the RDU. Like others who experienced similar, I went with an RDU fluid change to see if that made a difference. When I changed the fluid, the amount drained was lower than I expected, and when I filled it, I used less than the manual specs. I had the vehicle raised on four jack stands and ensured it was level, which it was from three different locations. It’s a super easy process, draining and filling. Approximately 20 oz of fluid was drained over 15 minutes, as shown in the water bottles. Not much sludge on the drain magnet, and no metal fragments were present. When I went to refill, I could only get 25 – 26 oz before the fill hole started running out. I guess it's no big deal because once it spills out, it's full. Has anyone else experienced lower-than-expected fluid when you drained the RDU? As for the vibration sound….not hearing it now. Maybe once the fluid level gets too low the vibration sound starts. thumbnail.jfif -
Are these aftermarket 21 inch wheels (as 2011 has 17, 18, 20, 22)? If it is FWD you probably can go down to a 17 inch wheel and taller tire, AWD the smallest you can run would be 18. Smaller wheel, taller sidewall for more protection on curbs and pot holes. I would probably go with an 18 inch even if FWD, but most of the AT tires are available in both P235/65R17 and P245/60R18 (and the 17 inch wheel options are much cheaper for the same tire). The Goodyear Assurance Weatherready2 are highly rated (I put these on my FWD Fusion that lives in Denver for snow, not dirt/gravel roads or off roading), less AT and more snow rated, the Firestone Destination AT2 is more offroad all terrain oriented.

I don't think they are " one-time use " either but Ford is being cautious. It's like saying, on older cars, every time you change the oil you have to change the oil drain plug gasket. Not a true statement. It's very tight in there to remove that PTU cover plate without moving anything else. I chose to buy a MityVac unit specifically for vacuuming out the gear fluid. Sucked it almost dry. I used another MityVac unit, so I didn't have to clean them in-between same-time uses for the PTU, to pump the new gear oil in. Took the correct amount of fluid as specified in the manuals. ( That's why I said it sucked it dry ) And, of course, a lot less messier. -
Bought a Bronco a while ago but I still have my 2011 Limited. Wheels are curbed to heck and tires are ready for a replacement. Gonna give this car to my kid who got her learner's permit. She grew up in the car and I want to keep her safe. Looking for rim and tire recommendations that would keep her safe in normal driving, light snow and just reliability. My 21's leak constantly so I keep an air compressor in the car. Looking for options for rim size and a quality AT tire to keep her from sliding into a ditch.

All that's needed is an O-ring - the size number is found in the thread linked above. No way that the bolts are "one time use".

Hello everyone, I’ve been following this thread with a lot of interest — great work from all of you digging into the 360 retrofit! I’ve been wanting to achieve a similar result, but I decided to take a different approach. I went with a third-party 360 AVM kit and set it up to integrate with the SYNC screen on my 2023 Ford Edge. There really isn’t anything compatible out of the box with the Edge, but I noticed the Edge and Ranger share similar hardware and modules. And notice I said similar — not the same. It’s been a long process — I’ve done tons of research and a fair amount of trial and error to figure out the video inputs, CANBUS integration, and DIP switch configurations needed to get everything displaying correctly with the factory screen and triggers. With this I do have dynamic guidelines, parking sensors, multiple views along with the top-down bird view. Also I did retain the factory camera and camera view, and I can jump between factory view and 360 kit view. It’s still a work in progress, but going this route gives me more flexibility compared to being locked into the OEM restrictions. I’ll share more updates as I continue refining the setup. Next steps will be to mount all the cameras

Yes a seal, but I'm not messing with it without a backup. They say you should replace the bolts too if removed (It's a kit with plug and blots). I'm still under warranty, so no matter what I'm good with pulling half of it every 10k and leave it be. Why they couldn't put a drain plug in it...frigging cost savings.
