    • Shouldn't have any problems.  Besides, it's just an AM/FM antenna, no one listens to that anyways. (evil snicker).   The little bump at  the back on the hatch is the navigation/GPS and Sirus unit.
    • Sorry to hear that! If you didn't setup FordPass to access it via the cell phone app, and you don't have access to another key easily, getting the code isn't possible, especially when locked out.
    • Thanks for the comment! I haven't been to the car wash yet, it's been raining off and on pretty regularly lately. But it's definitely ready for a bath! I'll give it a go and see what happens.
    • Hi All,   I have a rattle in my rear view mirror. The music used to shake the mirror and eventually seems like it developed a rattle.    The base where the mirror attaches to the windshield is secure. The mirror itself (where you adjust by hand) rattles. Is there a fix to this?   Any suggestions/help is much appreciated   Thanks in advance
    • i accidentally locked the doors with my keys inside, i dont have a code, does anyone know who can i contact to see if i can get one? or do i just call someone to unlock it for me.    thank you
    • Hey I just want to acknowledge Kruzer1 Post on August in 2022. The 8F57 was a breeze in the ST (2019).    Go under your car take the fabric cover off the driver's side you don't even need to remove it completely. 8mm I believe. Then there's the 14mm drain plug. Wait, take off the front most intake tube you'll see the breather and clamp attached to transmission. There's actually no videos or free documentation online so I was skeptical. Drained fluid, then poured a little ULV in the 1 inch hole. You need channel locks to get it off. Waited a minute and it trickled out. Great.    Measured what came out with old gallon containers of coolant. About 5.5qt bought the 6 pack so it was perfect. Wished I did have 7qt though. Locked back up. Already have a monitor so it did take 20 min to get the transmission around 200. The slipping in 5th or 28-38mph is gone. I did reset the learning too though so it's debatable which helped more. Old fluid was dirty so it surely helped.
    • I've tried 3 purge valves from Autozone and they all sounded like machine guns.
    • Have an 09 MKX, little "whip"  antenna at front, BAMR.   I wash the car in a local car wash every week (in the winter, get the salt off.) Ultimate wash; nothing but the best for "sweet pee".   Brushes, rug-type strips dragging across the top, spinning roller brushes, huge blowers to dry. Never had a problem. (Well once, ripped off the drivers wiper blade. Needed new blades anyways.) The side brushes used to fold the side mirrors in, but they adjusted the pressure and no more probs.   For whatever it's worth, the antenna is easy to replace, just screws off. <$20 oem on Amazon.    Whoever told you the remove it before a car wash doesn't know what he's talking about.
    • Not that you have a time machine and can go back and make sure the vehicle has it when you bought it, but Co-Pilot Assist+ with ACC, evasive steering, and navigation was $795 on my 2019. It was cheaper than the convenience package with alarm, hands free lift gate, remote start, garage door opener, and wireless charging pad (which was $835)   But then there was an equipment group savings and a California package and wheel discount, -$1700 for a 201a ($2800), silly all weather floor mats ($125), Co-Pilot Assist ($795), Convenience Package ($835), pano roof ($1595) and machined dark pocket 18 inch wheels ($895) so not clear what was discounted.
    • Hello Ford Edge Users,   I just had a crazy experience with the vehicle. I have been the happy and proud owner of Ford Edge 2007 for a little over 10+ yrs. Recently after getting a new battery installed back in January after a bitter cold a day prior to getting the battery the electronic system went crazy due to the severe weather. After the battery was installed, everything seemed fine. I even had a basic Maintenace check and oil change. I had to make a trip to Louisville, and I could feel the air at the level needed go out of the tires I recently had the air adjusted in the tires due to the tire sensor pressure fault showing on the dashboard I even hit the reset to see if that was still an issue. Was planning to have those repaired when I had extra money. As of currently the transponder key didn't work, I ordered a new key battery as it's a key with a computerized chip in it. After working with a neighbor to try to get the key to work after an hour and going by the manual that still didn't get it to work. I had then called Triple AAA they came out and give me a Jump to turn on the car and the diagnostics said the alternator and battery were fine and had a charge. I went to AutoZone where I got the car battery, they said the battery was good after another diagnostics test, but I still had warranty on the battery if I had to replace it. They mentioned by accident maybe I left a cabin light on? or a headlight or minor fuse needed to replace that shouldn't affect the functionality of the car.  As the last few days, the computerized system is not showing the tire sensor pressure fault as a potential problem. Knock on Wood!!! the car seems to be behaving and functioning normally!!!👏   Would appreciate any insight on why or how the car would act out of sorts this way? I do not the computerized cars in the modern are so sensitive it wouldn't take much to mess them up. Seems to have been a shortage somewhere??
