Hi, I have ford Edge 2013 sports, the problem is when i turn off the engine and lock the car the Sony screen does not go off, i have to open the passenger door once and close it then the screen goes into clock mode and turns off when i lock the car. But every time i have to open & close passenger door for this.

Hi, I have Ford Edge 2013 Sports, sunroof does not have power at all, previous owner said he got it disconnected because his kids were trying to play with it every time they get into the car, my questions are:   from where can i reconnect the sunroof power. is it possible to only remove sunroof shade and not Glass, because i am afraid that since sunroof hasn’t been used for more than a year, the glass may not close back.   Thanks

i tried again. unlocked the car with the fob. pressed it twice to unlock all doors and went inside. then walked out later with no fob .. still unlocked. then walked out with fob in top pocket. it did not lock this time. maybe operator is at fault here? interesting info on the mislock feature. will report anything else. appreciate feedback.

While it's possible an unintentional push of the IA fob's locking-button was the cause -- if it reoccurs, perhaps you can notice if any of the visual/audible feedback, described in the below-attached 2016 Edge Workshop Manual document, might indicate a cause...   Power Door Locking Feedback The exterior lamps and horn provide visual and audible feedback when unlocking and locking the doors under certain circumstances. Refer to the following table:   NOTE: The mislock feature (if equipped) sounds the horn twice (no turn signal flash) if the hood, liftgate or any door is ajar when the lock button is pressed on a valid programmed RKE transmitter. This feature can be configured on/off through the message center.   Action Status of Door(s) Status of Liftgate Status of Hood Visual/Audible Feedback Press the lock button on the door lock control switch Open Closed Closed A short flash of the turn signals after all the doors are closed. Press 7/8 and 9/0 on the keyless entry keypad Closed Closed Closed A short flash of the turn signals. if you didn't touch the area on top of the handles that are used to lock it with proximity of the Intelligent Access fob, I guess that could mean that one of them is busted and always trying to lock it, and once the fob is close enough it can finally lock? When you unlocked it, did it relock? Proximity just enables it to be locked or unlocked using the touch points.

Welcome to the Forum, @Beaub46!   So, as you're aware, the 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen (B&O) sound system was only offered on the 2021 Edge Titanium...       The 2021 Edge Workshop Manual describes the operational differences of the 6-speaker sound system in your ST-Line Edge and the 12-speaker B&O sound system...   Placing your device cursor over underlined acronyms may produce full-words descriptions of the acronyms.   DSP The DSP is a power amplifier for the vehicle speakers. The audio input signal comes from the ACM via the Automobile Audio Bus (A2B) cable (North America).   ACM Speaker Output - 6 Speaker System The ACM is configured to directly power vehicle speakers. An amplifier in the final stage of the ACM sends an analog AC signal to drive the speakers. Output may include stereo and center channels. The ACM powers all of the vehicle speakers.   A speaker circuit short to ground or power can be detected by the ACM . The ACM may disable speakers to prevent damage to the internal amplifier. A DTC sets to identify which speaker circuits are causing the concern.   ACM Signal/Speaker Output - 12 Speaker System (North America) The ACM is configured to directly power the front door tweeter speakers and all of the rear door speakers. An amplifier in the final stage of the ACM sends an analog AC signal to drive the speakers.   The ACM outputs audio data over an Automobile Audio Bus (A2B) cable to the DSP . The DSP powers the remaining vehicle speakers.   A speaker circuit short to ground or power can be detected by the ACM and the DSP . so i leave my cars unlocked quite a bit .. for personal reasons. i left my 2016 edge unlocked as usual. i walked up to it with the fob in my pocket .. and sure enough .. it proceeded to lock all the doors. that seem almost absurd to me. what gives?

The wife as a 2021 edge st-line and talks about a sub. I was wondering if the oem B&O subwoofer would be plug and play in a st-line? If anyone would have info would be really appreciated!
